FANS expected Colin Firth to bounce back to Darcy-esque proportions after he shed the kilos to play the role of a tortured PoW.
But the actor now appears to be starring in his own version of the Incredible Shrinking Man. While the 52-year-old seemed slim in June following filming of The Railway Man, at the Toronto Film Festival this week he looked even leaner.
The muscular torso that made his name in Pride and Prejudice has vanished and some observers speculated that his weight loss has now gone too far.
In The Railway Man, Firth plays a British officer captured by the Japanese in Singapore. In his latest film, Devil’s Knot, he takes on the role of a private investigator alongside Reese Witherspoon, 37.
