Awake Goy Israeli Jewish settler ran over on Sunday afternoon 4-year-old Palestinian boy in West Bank city of Al-Khalil, causing him moderate wounds.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli Jewish settler intentionally get closer to the roadside, where the boy was walking, hit him and immediately ran away.
According to the eyewitnesses, the boy was evacuated by the Palestinian Red Crescent paramedics to the Palestinian Authority hospital in the city.
Palestinian medical sources said that the boy was admitted to the hospital and was treated for moderate injuries.
The medical sources identified the boy as Murad Samir al-Razm, four years old, noting he was walking back from school when the Israeli Jewish settler hit him.
Security sources said that the Israeli Jewish settler hit the boy and ran towards the illegal Israeli settlement of Ramat Yishai built on the land of the Palestinian town of Tel Rumeida.
Mistreatment of Palestinians has been common since the city was divided in the 1990s after US-born settler Baruch Goldstein massacred 29 Palestinians inside the Ibrahimi Mosque.
Some 800 notoriously aggressive Israeli settlers now live under the protection of the Israeli military in the Old City, surrounded by more than 30,000 Palestinians.
Palestinian residents of the Old City face a large Israeli military presence on a daily basis, with at least 20 checkpoints set up at the entrances of many streets.
Additionally, Palestinians are not allowed to drive in most areas of the Old City and are not permitted to walk in certain roads, while the Israeli settlers drive cars and carry machine guns.
