Good Transit = Good Quality of Life
Medellín has a great sustainable transportation vision for the future, and so far they seem to be executing it extremely well. This video by our friends at Streetfilms (good job Elizabeth!) shows a city that seems to have got it all when it comes to sustainable transportation, and it has not only helped the citizens move around, but it is also remaking a city that used to be known for violence.
Medellín should not only be a model for the rest of Colombia and Latin America, but also for the rest of the world. We constantly look to Amsterdam and Copenhagen for ideas, but places like Medellín are also worth studying.
