Occupation arrests 11 children in Jerusalem

Days of Palestine, Jerusalem –Israeli occupation forces arrested on Monday 17 Palestinians, including 11 children in occupied Jerusalem.

Families of the children told Days of Palestine that the Israeli occupation stormed their houses, asked for their children by names and arrested them.

Father of Amer abu-Nijma, one of the arrested minors, said that he insisted to accompany his son, but the Israeli occupation forces refused.

During the arrests, the occupation forces assaulted two of the Palestinians, who were named as Sharif abu-Mayyala and Ismail Annous.

Israeli occupation forces have been carrying out violent assaults against Palestinians in East Jerusalem for the second week.

They also put severe restrictions on the Palestinian Muslim worshipers trying to enter into Al-Aqsa Mosque. At the same time, they escort Israeli Jewish settlers performing mythical rituals inside the Islamic holy site.

On Saturday, 11 Palestinians were arrested and several more were wounded by the Israeli forces in clashes throughout the day and night in several East Jerusalem’s neighbourhoods.
