The Gaza-based Palestinian health ministry announced that 122 Palestinians killed arrived at the remaining Gaza Strip hospitals and 56 wounded by Israeli forces’ ongoing strikes on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, local media sources reported that Israeli forces destroyed a house in the al-Zaitoun neighborhood in Gaza, and bombed the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, causing several deaths.

In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli forces bombed a family house in the Nusseirat refugee camp, killing 14 members of a single family. A large number of wounded were transferred after the bombing to the al-Aqsa hospital in Deir al-Balah.

Israel disappeared dead bodies under the rubble at al-Shifa hospital, says Palestinian civil defense

Palestinians continue to search for dead bodies in and around al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, more than a week after Israeli forces withdrew from the medical complex.

On Tuesday, the Palestinian civil defense in Gaza said that Israeli forces have disappeared dead bodies under the rubble at al-Shifa and in its vicinity, calling upon international organizations to intervene to help it in its mission.

The civil defense said that its teams have recovered 381 dead bodies from al-Shifa and its vicinity since Israel’s withdrawal. A spokesperson of the civil defense told AFP on Tuesday that his teams found several cuffed bodies.

Also on Tuesday, the Geneva-based Euro-Mediterranean human rights observatory said that its teams documented cases of “illegal execution” at al-Shifa and that Israeli forces tried to hide evidence by burying the bodies under the rubble.

Israeli forces raided al-Shifa for the second time on March 18. The assault, which lasted two weeks, destroyed all the facilities and equipment in the largest hospital in the Palestinian territory. The World Health Organization said, following Israel’s withdrawal, that al-Shifa “will not function as a hospital in any sense after today.”

UN rapporteur says EU has “obligation” to suspend ties with Israel

The UN special rapporteur for human rights in Palestine, Francesca Albanese said on Tuesday that Israeli leaders manipulate the principles of international law to legitimize Israel’s violence against Palestinians in Gaza.

Speaking at the European Parliament, Albanese argued that Israeli leaders have been also manipulating terms like “human shields” and “safe zones”, adding that the European Union has an obligation to impose an arms embargo on Israel.

Albanese remarked that the EU also has to suspend special commercial accords with Israel to force it to comply with international law.

According to the UN rapporteur, “conditions were there” before October 7 to impose these measures, especially due to Israel’s settlements’ expansion in Palestinian land.

Earlier last month, Albanese presented a report to the UN Human Rights Council detailing Israel’s genocide in Gaza. Albanese said that she had received several death threats as a result of her work on the report.

Settler attacks in the West Bank

Israeli settlers injured four Palestinians in the Palestinian village of Burqa, east of Ramallah on Wednesday morning.

Residents told Palestinian media that a group of 30 settlers attacked Burqa and began to open fire toward houses. Settlers also set fire to a sheep barrack in the village.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces raided the cities of Tulkarm, Nablus, Beit Ummar near Hebron, and Beit Rima north of Jerusalem, arresting nine Palestinians.

According to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, Israel has arrested over 8100 Palestinians since October 7. Currently, Israel holds at least 9400 Palestinians in its jails, including more than 3600 detainees without charges 71 women, and 200 children.
