Opinion: Trumps 9/11 Attack On Bush Is All About Benghazi

Media commentators are perplexed over Donald Trump’s seemingly wild and in some respects apparently illogical and suicidal attack on George W. Bush over the 9/11 attacks in which Trump makes the point that it happened on George Bush’s watch and he therefore bears responsibility. Trump has been willing to even link Bush’s failure with immigration, a long shot indeed, and hardly justified considering Bush had not been very long in office, but one that plays into his narrative.

To most observers this appears to be yet another wild mob hit by Trump in which he seeks to gun down George ‘the WMD’ Bush and his fellow Capo Jeb ‘Low-Energy’ Bush at any price. Once again the media are crying that Trump ‘has really blown it this time’ and it’s a downward spiral for his campaign from now on.

But if we look at this from the aspect of the intricate chess-game Trump is playing we might consider that what he is doing is simply sacrificing a Pawn to take a Queen further on in the play. Yes, he is hitting Jeb and Jeb’s statement that Bush made America safe, but he is also, at the price of creating temporary anger in the Republican camp, sacrificing one of their own to the liberal democrats view of history. By doing so he is gaining the street cred for a similar hit on Queen Hillary in her up and coming testimony on Benghazi and any further encounters he may have with her if he receives the nomination and fights her one on one for the presidency.

By attacking George Bush (to whom he owes no favours) he gains Democrat votes while the anger in the Republican camp will be forgotten when he turns the same fire on Hillary later on.

In the short term Trump is depriving the transnational Jewsmedia of the possibility of claiming that Bush got away with any responsibility for 9/11 and that therefore any attempt to bring Hillary into criticism for Benghazi is just a right-wing Republican witch-hunt.

Having gunned down two members of his own Republican family to gain street cred as a hit-man, The Don will have every right to place his gun to Hillary’s head and blow her brains out over what happened in Libya on her watch. In the second hit he can then take out both the Capo Clinton and her crime boss Obama over major failures in national security.

And there is always the possibility that Ben ‘the magic negro’ Carson might be lured into attacking the Don as he looks temporarily weak over the fallen pawn, thus giving Trump the long-awaited excuse to take out a hit on him as well.
