Chris Burris, writing for Lew Rockwell’s website yesterday, makes a good point about the Occupy Wall Street movement – they are barking up the wrong tree.
Democracy? How about a constitutionally limited republic?
Instead of occupying a park outside of Wall Street, they should march en masse to 33 Liberty Street. That’s where the New York Fed is located. In addition, they should take their chants and drums to the Harold Pratt House on 58 E. 68th Street at Park Avenue. The Council On Foreign Relations does business at that address.
If the Occupiers had a clue, they would go after the power elite instead of their workers down on Wall Street.
“But they won’t be led to confront the gods on Mount Olympus by their Judas goats and media shills,” Burris writes with an appropriate degree of sarcasm. “David Rockefeller, Pete Peterson, Warren Buffett, David Koch and Henry Kissinger might be held up from lunch at 21.”
In addition to Rockefeller and the CFR, protesters in Washington, DC, should immediately march on the North American headquarters of the Trilateral Commission, situated at 1156 Fifteen Street, NW, and make their demands known.
It would also be helpful to protest the Bilderberg Group, the cabal of ultra-rich global elitists who plot our future in secret. Bilderberg does not have an office per se, but with a little footwork I am sure dedicated OWS activists could find the homes and offices of its core members. The OWS needs to get it together – and soon. It looks like it is already being sold out to large unions that helped put the globalist sock puppet and teleprompter reader Obama in office – and they are gearing up to do it again.
If the OWS movement allows itself to be merged into the “progressive” Borg hive, it will never recover. It will be sold out and turned into an establishment cheering section for Democrats just like the once proud Libertarian Tea Party was sold down the river by establishment Republicans.
It needs to go after the real enemies of humanity listed in part above. Short of correcting its aim, the OWS is destined to become another useless and ineffective showboating movement bowing to corporatized labor like the SEIU and following the lead of establishment and foundation funded careerist Democrats.

Maybe after reading this Alex will for once pay attention to something I write, or maybe not moderate my comments.
I just happened upon the Denver occupy protest tonight, and wow, wouldn’t have even known it was going on if I didn’t take the city route home.
Things I noticed:
Upon arriving at approximately 6:50pm MST the people who were attending called for every one to gather together for a GA (General Assembly). This is a leaderless movement (crowd repeats exactly what speaker says). They explained that this was in support of NY OWS because they weren’t permitted to have microphones. This GA then went on to have discussions and announcements and really a bunch of other nonsense that was irrelevant to any movement. It was extremely bureaucratic.
There were maybe 35 people. The demands are vague and they refuse to have any legitimate leadership to help recruit protesters- yet these people are hypocrites because there were definitely some folks there who were more “in charge” than others.
Again, no direction. people occupying space. It was basically a band of left leaning hippy type folks with a few people who were even aware of the fed.
“End corporate greed and corruption”. That is what they were saying. I asked them for some specific actions but most I talked to just said its about making people aware. Well, PEOPLE ARE AWARE OF THAT ALREADY!
anyway, some kid that was taking care of security measures for those sleeping at night at some point mentioned “tea-baggers” and I quickly explained to him how he was playing his part in the left-right paradigm…. and this is right after he said “we can’t have a specific message because the cops and media will try to divide and conquer the movement with it”
I sadly wasn’t even shocked by his stupidity.
Apparently these people have been there for 14 days.
This didn’t seem to be some Soros based operation but I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that 75% of those people tonight would go vote for obama again

My point was that it is going to accomplish nothing. I am all about occupying wall street…but have some legitimate demands. Just because I remark on the facts about what category people fit into doesn’t mean I am part of that paradigm.
What successful resistance has ever accomplished its goals without a leader? I am not aware of a single instance. I understand the premise behind the 99%, and the leaderless opposition. I get it. But it flies directly in the face of reality. You need solid leadership to unite the masses otherwise its anarchy, or at the very least a bunch of confused people standing around for the sake of standing around.
And where has Alex supported “saving Wall Street”?
By focusing his message on a much more critical, defined agenda?
If no one has noticed the best candidates are staying out of the race. They wont run. Personally I like Newt. He is a lot like Christie but he either doesnt get much coverage or he knows only to say so much. This country isnt run by the President any longer folks. We all know that. The bankers and big businessmen have become to powerfull for that to be allowed. People like Soros, Buffet and Rockefeller and companies like JP Morgan and GE run everything. The President is a figurehead that takes orders and we all know it. Personally Id like to see a Newt/Paul ticket but it wont happen and if it did not much if anything would change until we get rid of the thieves that have coopted our country and we all know it.

Why would they want to protest all those places when it’s so much easier to just protest Del Taco,WalMart,BofA and Yahoo.
If people choose to believe that standing in front of Wall Street is going to make change actually happen I certainly cannot stop them from believing that. The truth is however that those that are robbing us blind are not there. They watch those people on the nightly news casts and laugh at them if they pay attention at all. If you want REAL change protesting in front of Soro’s home would do the trick or surrounding Ben Bernanke’s home. THAT would get people noticed and they would be taken VERY VERY seriously. The way this is currently being done it is nothing more than the equivalent of a Greatful Dead show without the band. Right now the cops are probably being told to basically leave most people alone even if they are getting drunk and stoned. Only get involved it they get violent, just like at the Dead shows I used to go to. The powerful people know that everyone will get tired of being cold and go home when they have had enough because there is no truly significant leadership. Give the protestors a military leadership of retirees in good standing and high rank and watch how fast things change. Until then the powerful people in control of this country and its corporations will laugh at them and let them be till they get tired and go home. I am hoping for real leadership, THEN I will join in.

I am not stupid but I can guarantee you that I am not educated enough to do what is necessary to make this movement work. I am only smart enough to recognize the proper leadership. Nor am I the kind of person that can sit back and send people into what could become deadly situations. I am more the sneak. The guy that can get in and out with info. Our economic ship of state has to be capsized. The Federal Reserve has to be taken out of the equation and Congress has to accept its rightful responsibilities. The Free Market has to have checks against monopolistic corporatocracies and Congress needs to make sure it provides an equal level playing field for ALL sellers and ALL buyers with a free flow of information transparently provided to all buyers and sellers so they can trade knowledgeably and be responsible for fulfilling the requirements of all contracts.
The very principle of their domination is not in their actions, but in their foundations. The FRB is just a reserve bank, and just because it is private doesn’t mean I couldn’t use the same actions and create a reserve bank for the people.
If that’s allowed to be done, then it should be used for the people, otherwise scrap the whole fucking idea of reserve banking.
I believe there is nothing preventing establishing a reserve bank other than FED, except capitalization requirements and some regulations that can be complied with. In fact, there is no law preventing an issuance of a currency/scrip other than FED Dollars.

I think this article sorta misses the point. Nobody occupied wall street because they wanted to kick a stock broker, they chose Wall Street because it is one of the most recognizable symbols of that which they are truly protesting against. And what those people, whether they be unemployed and dirty or tenured and washed, is the way that the 1% are abusing the 99%.
They may not have great grammar, they may not be well educated on the real issues, but they know they would be better off if not for the greed of corporations and the ultra-rich.

Randy was wrongfully convicted of “operating a private investigation company without a license” in Cherokee County, Texas, on September 29, 2011, and is now sentenced to one year in jail and a $4,000 fine. The charges are bogus, there was no evidence, and the court never had jurisdiction. It was an obvious railroad job in retaliation due to the criminal complaints Randy tried to file against public servants in that county. We need to raise $30K or more to pay for Randy’s legal expenses including court transcripts, an appeal bond, possible attorney’s fees, and to keep the network on the air. Randy had been significantly financially supporting the radio network up to this point, and now we need you listeners to chip in more than ever to keep the radio network on the air while we do everything we can to get Randy out of jail. I agree with you totally. HOWEVER let me take you a little further down the line into the future. You made mention of targeting the homes of the members of the Bilderberg Group. I agree. I’m all for the protest but you can’t take a lot of them seriously. I’m not sure how old you are but those people are my age and we truly havent felt this crisis as our parents have. Most people my age are for the establishment because it raised us. We were the lab rats of society and here’s the monster. So yes I”m totally green, but I just read a blog yesterday (presscore.ca/2011/?p=4448) that we actually have Two Constitutions and the buggers in DC have been operating under the latter since 1871 when the original “Constitution for the united states for America” was changed to the “THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”. This is basically what helped turn the US into a Corporation and any claims by politicians to protect the Constitution is not to the original, but the newer secret Constitution under Vatican Law. I am really starting to think itakes either is a shill or just very opinionated, however, there are a few points here. That said, I often have enjoyed his program and I felt it opened up a realm of interest in politics and information warfare that I had previously been lacking. In the end, to me it doesn’t even matter whose side Alex is on, heck religiously he is completely opposite to me so I guess I should be slinging mud and making irrational comparisions, but thats silly and I want to know about things going on around me. He must open the door to our extraterrestrial teachers working silently behind the scenes, dropping gentle hints into our thoughts as to the urgency of thinking and acting for ourselves, not for others.
He will be a teacher, not merely a leader. What he teaches will be free of dogma of all kinds. He will teach us the difference between ethics and morality; namely, that morality is imposed from the outside and borne in religious truth which teaches us nothing. In contrast, ethics is internally inspired once given the freedom and independence to experiment with our own evolving truths.
Where does our Constitution fit in this? Obviously, we need to get back to that ASAP. However, it did not protect us from tyranny, because laws on paper will never prevent their trampling, nor will they ever assure the higher consciousness needed whereby people relate to each other with dignity, love, support, and mutual respect.
No law, no constitution could ever bring us that! And so, our leader’s vision must start from this premise, and change our cultural mindsets and expectations of what civilization could be, and must be, to advance.

That is a pretty good suggested list. Some are better than others. Protesting the Carnegie Endowment, which is headed by the former President of Brown University, I think should be at the lower end. The CFR is a good one. They deserve some major headaches and Richard Haas could blow his top again. Trilateral is a good choice. Brookings, that would be interesting. CSIS is one that needs to be woken up. Regardless, I still think the protesters are starting something strategic right where they are. It is highly symbolic. The Fed is very nearby.

Washington D.C. is a Democracy. It is subject to the “exclusive jurisdiction of Congress”. Congress is a democracy.
Therefore. If you say you are a citizen (14th Amendment), or resident… of the (corporate) United States you are therefore “subject” to the jurisdiction of Congress. You have waived your protections of the state and federal Constitutions because you are not a state Citizen (national) but have claimed residence or citizenship of the District of Columbia which is not a state but is District “not to exceed ten miles square” (Art.1 Sec.8 cls17) seceded by particular states (Maryland) to become the seat of (corporate) United States. Thus you are under the administrative law of DC and subjects of United States or Washington D.C. or in other words Congress. For Congress to make laws that apply with force and effect to Citizens of the several states it MUST be published in the federal register. So who are you? A state Citizen National or a United States citizen.
The Constitution is FOR the United States (read the preamble) not FOR the People (flesh and blood) but to define the limits of power of the United States.

You have to remember that most modern-day Republics function through a Democratic process, so a Democracy and a Republic are NOT opposing definitions of government. Votes and public input should be a part of determining public policy, but ONLY if they do not violate the Constitutional restraints of the Republic.
Right now we have neither a democracy or a republic, because of the way the NWO elite violate the Constitutional laws and manipulate elections. But as things are designed by the US Constitution, we VOTE for both State and Federal Reps and Senators, Governors and President (via the Electoral College by State) These Reps and Senators VOTE on laws and bills in State and Federal congressional houses. Even the Supreme Court operates by a democratic process. So Democracy is an absolute essential in our Republic.
This is not Mobocracy. This is the way our Republic is designed.
As a non-statist the terms republic or democracy still only mean one thing; government.
Government is men and women providing services at the barrel of a gun and if they really were there to protect the individual and their property, they wouldn’t be the first to use deadly force and confiscation.
