Researchers have detected a radiation hotspot in Japan’s capital of Tokyo months after a nuclear disaster in the earthquake-prone country.
Radiation of up to 3.35 microsieverts per hour was recorded Thursday at a height of 1 meter along a street in the west of the capital – 220 kilometers (136 miles) from the site of the troubled nuclear reactors in the Fukushima nuclear power plant – much higher than previously reported levels, Kyodo News reported.
Since a 9.0-magnitude earthquake and a devastating tsunami on March 11, the Daiichi Fukushima nuclear plant has been leaking radiation into the air, soil.
The quake triggered a nuclear crisis by knocking out power to cooling systems at the nuclear power plant on Japan’s northeast coast.
The number of the dead and missing from the quake and tsunami stands at over 28,000, according to the Japanese National Police Agency.

Since radiation is safe and good for you, expect beauty and wellness centers to be erected there in no-time. The hottest health center in Japan. Good for their economy, too. A souvenir shop would be great too for all those tourists after visiting the beauty centers.

This is so sad, I used to really like sushi. Any news of rad readings from Hawaii, and west coast of American continent? being nuke free here dosnt mean dick really air, water, and fish move. Just a matter of time. Would be awesome if a Godzilla monster climbed out of the sea, even better if it got over to the white house it would enjoy that crunchy on the out and soft chewy center. it would spit hillary out yuk! to sour, and Obama well he would just make it constipated a real pain in the r$e. good pickings at the pentagon something fishy goin on over there.
