Rebels Defeated in Misurata. Reports of Rebel Advances on Tripoli are Unsubstantiated

The mainstream media is reporting that Tripoli is surrounded. Bernard-Henri Lévy, author and adviser to France’s president Nicolas Sarkozy has even declared that the regime in Tripoli has collapsed. This is fiction.

NATO and its coalition have launched attacks to the west of Tripoli to surround the capital. They have only managed to temporarily disrupt the supply route from Tunisia to Tripoli. This is part of their strategy of imposing a siege on the Libyan capital.

An estimated 100 to 200 rebel fighters have emerged near the south side of the Zawiyah (Zawiya) District, approximately 50 kilometres (31 miles) west of Tripoli. They claim to have taken over the city of Sorman (Surman). These claims are unsubstantiated.

What happened was that some of the insurgents merely passed through Sormon on the highway on their way to attacking Zawiyah.

The Western media report that the insurgents control most of the city of Zawiyah. This claim is unsubstantiated. In reality, the insurgent forces merely raised the flag of King Idiris I in a remote area of the Zawiyah District and then quickly left that area and did some photo ops for foreign journalists to give the impression that they had a foothold in Zawiyah.

The insurgent fighters only stayed in their location in Zawiyah for a few hours. The local population was hostile towards them and they were afraid to stay longer. Their main aim was to destroy the oil refinery in the area.

NATO and its rebel proxies are attempting to cut supply routes into the Tripoli District by sabotaging transportation routes with Tunisia. In this context, the rebels have also attacked Ras Al-Jedir, which is located on the Tunisian-Libyan border.

The Libyan Military has entered Misurata

While the insurgency and NATO are on the offensive to the west of Tripoli, they have lost their hold on Misurata.

On August 15, 2011, there were early morning celebrations throughout the country as news became public that the Libyan military had entered Misurata.

In Tripoli gunfire could be heard across the city as people celebrated. Western mainstream media reporters in Tripoli were briefed. The relevant information was made available to them. There was news blackout. Not a word was mentioned in the Western press regarding the victory of Libyan armed forces in Misurata.

  1. The Cia/Mossad Press Releases are Parrot media headlines according to “law”.

  2. The biggest lie is that the rebels are doing any fighting whatsoever. Its all “death from above”‘ and we know the rebels don’t own any blackhawks. Where is the reporting on actual battles like in Vietnam?

  3. i used to believe alex jones and info wars, or at least take what they say seriously. not any more. as a libyan there have been SO many things that have been pure fiction. dont get me wrong, there are truths, but with all the BS that has been mixed in, people who know nothing about libya, the libyan people, or gaddafi cant tell which is which.
gaddafi’s forces defeated rebels in misrata? in what dimension? people in zawiya hate the rebels? in what world??
i know im gonna be jumped on for this, but all i ask everyone to do is talk to a libyan. i dont watch western media, or aljazeera, i get my information on libya from my family and friends in libya, or my other libyan friends who have family there.

just wow i cant believe this article was written, using libyan state tv as a source. are you gonna also report giant earthquakes in the united states? because libyan state tv is saying thats going on too.

and the fact people buy this baloney. when i read “rebels defeated in misrata”, i literally lol’d

    • I was reading the articles last night on how the rebels were taking control, and I just sensed it was total bull crap. I mean one of Gaddhafi’s commanders or someone in his ranks said they had quelled the uprising in Tripoli in half an hour. I would really like to know what’s really going on over there, so if you could expound on what is going on, I would be appreciative. You can’t even hardly get real news anywhere anymore.

    • infowars’ sole responsibility is to get people in a rage and fight against the government. They wont take over, it’s just a good excuse for martial law. This whole libya incedent is just a black/white image, a media/info wars kind of thing where we are jsut creating more opposites like the class warfar going on and political divide. We are all fucked, you must only take care of your own

      • We are in big trouble. The plans laid out for America present the most horrific scenario any nation or people has ever faced. And plans must be executed, but the way things look now, the way the American people are, most are simply sitting around not knowing that death and destruction and starvation and plunder are right at the door. I believe they will be successful in their plans. But they won’t get all of us. And infowars can burn in hell.

    • Also, the articles I was reading were saying that neighboring countries were wanting Gaddhafi to go. Is this true? I don’t know much about Gaddhafi, he looks like an evil bastard. But it can’t be a coincidence that two major powers are under attack right now, Syria and Libya. It’s apparent that the powers that be are wanting to get these men out of power, but I’m almost certain whoever takes their places will not be any better. Oh well, it won’t matter so much what’s going on over there when all hell is about to break loose at home.

  4. To the lybian:

C’mon, keep pushing back! You have all my support! The Benghazi and al-CIA rebels are crumbling from the inside. Right now their main strategy is to install little pockets of terrorists near or in Tripoli and do terrorist attack to scare away the resistance. While of course, hiping disinfo through their usual channels to push a scare off. It’s all an illusion!

Also, it seems that “journalists” work entirely as military auxiliary under NATO. You know, lasering targets, revealing targets with GPS and other means… The lesson is, do not let them in any sensible information unless you’re absolutely sure about their credential like Webster Tarpley, send them back packing or take them into custody. Also watch for foreign diplomats, red cross… They could very well be doing the same thing.

If they’re gonna try to throw a guerilla on you, do it too. Arm everybody. Hide a man in every house, put some on roof tops. Take note of sniper hiding spots, be ready for them. Watch out for IEDs. This is what I see shaping out. Let’s not forget you’re fighting al-CIA over there.

Again, go for it. The alternative is a massacre.

  5. Yea I noticed that. They sure as hell ain’t Libyans.

    • , Rothshite goons doing their masters bidding. These twats don’t even know who they work for.
The trouble with all this is, when they return to from wherever the came…..they will still be horrible twats.

  6. Funny some of these rebel rif raf look Jewish!

    • The rebels are mercs. They probably will be recycled somewhere else.
