Reflections on the 4th of July

“Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.”

― G. Michael Hopf

1 – From bondage to spiritual faith;
2 – from spiritual faith to great courage;
3 – from courage to liberty;
4 – from liberty to abundance;
5 – from abundance to selfishness;
6 – from selfishness to complacency;
7 – from complacence to apathy;
8 – from apathy to dependence;
9 – from dependency back again into bondage.

When you have hit bottom as America has, there is only one direction one can travel, up!

If a society could be made fair, good, free, and thereafter that society could be maintained in that state perpetually, humanity would have arrived at Utopia.

But not on this rock, not in this dimension.

In the First American revolution for Freedom, Americans won their Liberty from the British.

In the Second American revolution for Freedom, Americans Lost their Liberty to the Comwellian Marxist yankees from Washington DC.

It is time for the Third American revolution for Freedom.
The outcome has not yet been decided.

Are you a sheep?

Or a man?

The discharge after 3 years service, Valley Forge, Wounded at the Battle of Brandy Wine, of my 3ed Great Grandfather Carleton, who’s son married the daughter of a man who did two 3 years hitches with cousin George, who’s own Father in law was a Winter Soldier in his advanced age.
Maybe your ancestors hid under their beds and informed the British on my kin, but my ancestors all had a set of balls.

The Ole Dog!
