Ron Paul gave Rick Santorum a history lesson last night at the Ames, Iowa, GOP debate. After Paul said there is no evidence the Iranians are developing nuclear weapons and the United States should mind its own business, Santorum launched into the standard establishment narrative.

He said Iran “must be confronted,” in other words the U.S. must go to war against the Islamic nation, and then described Iran’s government as “a mullahcracy that tramples the rights of women, tramples the rights of gays, tramples the rights of people all throughout their society — and is the greatest supporter of terrorism in the Middle East and around the world.”

Paul then gave the former Pennsylvania senator a history lesson. Anthony Gregory, writing for Antiwar.com, filled in the details:

First, Santorum says Iran has been at war with the United States since 1979. Ron points out that the bad blood between Americans and Iranians began in 1953, when a CIA coup installed the Shah. Indeed, we should remember that before 1953, the Iranians tended to look very warmly upon the Americans, who, unlike the British, had left the Iranians alone. Their democratically elected leader Mohammad Mosaddegh, partly for his popularity due to his resistance to British corporate imperialism, was even Time Magazine‘s Man of the Year in 1951.

Not only did the U.S. install the Shah two years later; the CIA taught his secret police force, Savak, how to torture. Savak went on to imprison and torture tens of thousands of political prisoners, adopting such practices of nearly unfathomable brutality as using broken glass and boiling water on subjects’ rectums, mutilating women’s breasts, and cooking victims alive.

After years of being ruled by this U.S.-backed regime, the Iranians overthrew the Shah and the Islamic Revolution of 1979 swept the nation. But, despite what the propagandists say, Iranians still did not hate Americans for our freedom — only for our government’s foreign policy. All the attempts to get Iranians angry at Americans for our culture or modernity failed, Michael Scheuer, former CIA counterterrorism expert, points out.

I can’t wait to hear Ron Paul give his first state of the union address
Allow me to repeat myself:

Let’s say we witness the necessary string of miracles it would take to get him into the presidency: he’s not assassinated by artificial heart attack or other means, he somehow manages to defeat the rigged electronic voting machines out there, a “terrorist attack” or “natural disaster” is not implemented to keep Barry in office four more years while his few loyal followers call him a hero for presiding over another tragedy, and Ron Paul actually makes it to the White House…

He will still be surrounded by murderers and operatives, globalist bankers and their underlings and there’s that trip to the smoky room with the Kennedy assassination footage shot from behind the grassy knoll. Does anyone really believe he would be allowed to alter America back towards the constitution without being scandalized, murdered, or have the whole country held ransom due to foreign threats or acts of war? It is too easy to take down one man. No, I don’t think it’s wrong to hope and to back a man with a near flawless American ideology but unless we all as one transcend the political spectrum entirely, gather the forces necessary to arrest every last bankster and criminal politician and educate the military and public as to how we’ve been played and used by these sick, sadistic child eaters our hopes and dreams for taking back our country will fall to the same old tricks because we could not muster the humanity to ceaselessly share what we’ve learned about human history with those who resist responsibilty.

We need to evolve ideas about humanity on this planet, listen to what the frustrated and the ignored have to say and be as compassionate as possible even when confronted with unbridled denial and fear. Our armed forces are spread too thin and weary from endless wars. They need to be cared for and reeducated. “Main Stream Media” cameras need to be followed around and signs bearing truthful accusations against our overlords displayed at every pithy story covered. The “trolls” and agents of this system who believe themselves a part of elite or too hateful to care need the most attention and supervision. Communities need to stand up for each other as we resist the growing implimentation of laws to restrict our freedom to farm, grow, educate and nuture our selves. Let no court case be heard against people who resist tyrannical Federal authority with hundreds if not thousands of people showing up to let the agents of the Fed know if they persecute one of us they must confront all of us. If you can afford it do research on as many of your local goons as possible. Expose them all! Get crooked judges and sherriffs out of your towns and elect faithful men and women to the posts.

And when the times do grow terrifying and impossible as they very likely will do your best to share what you have with your community and plan strageties for defeating and overcoming occupying forces and other disasters. The office of the presidency will not be given to Ron Paul based soley on the will of his supporters nor will it be maintained while we ignore the growing technocratic hell meant to make gods of these soul snatching murderers. The thugs who possess near endless technology and weapons to plunge this country into permanent drought, floods, disease, earthquakes or otherwise DO EXIST and must be stripped of their positions and power. The reality of this technology must be confronted by every human being and used to aid the earth, not bring it to famine and war.

Our numbers are not a threat to nature as some of the most feeble minded people believe. Those of us herded into cities and shown endless images of the devastation the genocidal lords of industry have reeked on our planet are told it is the individual causing this and not the psychopathic elite who couldn’t care less if they destroy themselves so long as everyone and everything goes with them. They write about their nihilistic philosophies and these writings can be used to educate and awaken. The whole world could change in one day if the seeds of truth we’ve been spreading were realized at once when the next disaster occurs and the establishment is seen tightening their grip around our throats and exploiting the tragedy as they always do. Do not preach violence but be ready to defend your tribe when the time is necessary. Organize, resist and arrest! Trust that if you can imagine it it is a truth somewhere in this universe.

Ron Paul is doing a great job. But even if the polls get down to Obama and Ron who says they won’t change the numbers in favor for Obama? I’m sure they are capable of it. And with all the good things that Ron Paul is planning on doing, won’t they just assassinate him like they did to Kennedy? Im not too history savvy, but by looking at what they have done in the past ( admitted and not admitted ) it seems as if theres no hope.

Another history lesson that never seems to surface about USA and Iran, was that the first nuclear reactor that Iran had, was built by the United States.

Amazingly enough that nothing is ever mention of of this program when discussing the ambitions of Iran’s nuclear capability.
