The army completely closed the roadblock, forcing hundreds of residents to wait for several hours.

Earlier on Thursday, soldiers kidnapped two schoolteachers and a student returning from school in the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

The teachers, identified as Hani Makhamra and Mousa Abu Mreir, and the student Ibrahim Hosha, were forced to stand under the sun for more than three hours before they were handcuffed, blindfolded and were taken to a nearby military base.

Soldiers frequently detain and harass school students and teachers in the area, especially those going to schools that are located near the illegal Israeli Annexation Wall, and near illegal Israeli settlements and outposts in and around the city.
