Named Aeolus after the Greek god of wind, the 430-foot megayacht’s hull features two forward-oriented buttresses containing multi-use spaces, while the layered glass-clad decks are designed to maximize potential for views of the seascape. All decks are connected by a central feature elevator and staircase.

While the exterior was conceived by famed car designer Giles Taylor, the interior was designed by architects from Bergman Design House’s superyacht-centric Njord division, which envisions sustainable furnishings and finishes in accordance with Oceanco’s eco-minded NXT initiative.Selected materials include “lower-impact flooring” in place of hardwoods, “Desserto” vegan leather made from climate-positive cacti, and non-toxically processed and dyed linens.

Oceanco has devised an adaptable architecture that can be continually updated the latest available green tech.

If it were built today, Aeolus would be equipped with a diesel electric system. A mid-life upgrade would incorporate any fuel cell advancements, while the final stage would be entirely run on a diesel-less fuel cell/ICE hybrid.
