As Donald Trump escalates his war with CNN – reports suggest that his administration could go as far as blackmailing the network if it doesn’t change its ways. According to the New York Times – “White House advisers have discussed a potential point of leverage over their adversary… a pending merger between CNNs parent company, Time Warner, and AT&T. Mr. Trumps Justice Department will decide whether to approve the merger, and while analysts say there is little to stop the deal from moving forward, the presidents animus toward CNN remains a wild card.”
