W.Va. gas prices up nearly 2 cents since last week

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — The price of a gallon of gas is up nearly 2 cents this week in West Virginia.

AAA’s weekly check of fuel prices found the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded at $3.52. That’s up 1.6 cents from a week ago. On the plus side, it’s about 17 cents lower per gallon than a year ago.

The West Virginia price is a couple cents higher than the U.S. average.

Fuel prices this week range from $3.44 a gallon in Huntington to $3.59 in Morgantown.
