What’s wrong with RT? It used to be a source of information on current events we trusted more than our media. It has been accused of being  the official propaganda machine of the Russian Federation, and more directly Kremlin’s, aka Putin’s voice. If so, one expects a certain amount of tilting the balance in favor of news favorable to Russia and editorials aimed at the same result.

But what is RT doing devoting space to rank Holocaust propaganda?
Is yet another story of  another Jew visiting Auschwitz and hypocritically vowing “Never again” even as Israel is committing outrageous crimes against Palestinian children really necessary?
Is yet another article peddling the lies of the biggest lie of the 20th century, the “6 million Jews exterminated,” the illusory “gas chambers,” the “ovens”, needed? Most importantly, this piece of garbage (see below), was written by an RT correspondent, not by some Israeli propagandist, an RT representative sent there by RT!

Auschwitz ‘hell on Earth’: RT correspondent spends night at Nazi death camp

“Auschwitz is “hell on Earth,” said RT’s Paula Slier after spending a night at the former Nazi concentration camp ….“It was extremely evocative.”
Evocative of what? Of Schindler’s Auschwitz?

“Found by chance, old letters once written by a young Flip Slier took RT journalist on a personal mission to follow her relative’s last path from home to a Nazi death camp.”
Ah, the old letters found by chance device..
If it was a personal mission, why was it subsidized by RT?

“During the course of my research I found out that 119 members of my family had been killed.”
A most fertile family, to be sure. How many such families does it take to make 6 million?

“Most of them were gassed in Auschwitz. I am talking all about my grandfather’s brothers and sisters, my great-aunts, my great-uncles, my cousins, my great-grandmother,” she said.”
“Gassed.” A lie.

“Flip was gassed in Sobibor concentration camp in Poland.”
“Gassed.” The same lie, repeated for retention.

“During her investigation Slier met a grandson of Rudolf Hess, a commandant at Auschwitz. Essentially I was meeting a grandson of the man who was responsible for killing my family and I felt conflicted about meeting him. But he has separated himself from his family.
She said the man is using the Hess family name only to spread the message to the world that Auschwitz must not happen again.”

I wonder if he customarily makes himself available for these “investigations.” The man, although not physically tortured like his grandfather until he made the required “confession,” did have his share of psychological torture. Does he really believe that his grandfather gassed, as claimed, 400,000 Jews in two months? That comes to 6,666 per day! (One recognizes the appeal of so many 6’s to whoever came up with this preposterous lie.) Perhaps he does. He is pathetically abject in his desire to please the judeozionist masters of Germany who have made the Jewish version of WWII history a taboo object to be venerated but not touched:

“I asked him whether or not he thought that the Holocaust could happen again and he said ‘Yes’.According to Slier, today we are witnessing the attempts to re-write history, 70 years after the end of WWII.”

What are historians doing studying and revising history older than a few decades, the fools! History is like Moses’ tables: written in stone. Or maybe only selected parts of it.

What is wrong with RT is what is wrong with the Russian Federation’s current attitude to history, strikingly similar to the West’s attitude toward the “Holocaust.”

Specifically, Russia has constructed a false version of the “Great War for the Defense of the Motherland.” Even the fact that this is the RussianSpeak name for WWII is reminiscent of the method used by the “Holocaust” creators: taking a global conflagration that involved numerous countries, even continents, scores of nations, and reducing its import to the segment of interest to the propangandists. The “Holocaust” only refers to the Jews, the Russian version of WWII only concerns the Soviets. The Soviet soldiers are all portrayed as heroes “sans peur et reproche”; they are the “liberating Red Army.”

Yet history is never written in black and white. The truly unique suffering and catastrophic losses of the Soviets in WWII are neither deniable nor diminished in any way by an honest admission of facts, equally true: the horrendous war crimes perpetrated by the same Red Army of “liberators” in Germany and parts of Eastern Europe. Stalingrad does not excuse the millions of German women raped and/or slaughtered in barbaric fashion by the Soviet Army.

Not only are the Russians unwilling to own up to the culpability of the Soviet Army, but they are implementing stark punitive legislation to fight the crime of “revisionism,” similar to the laws enforced by their current adversaries (quondam allies) in the West against “Holocaust denial.”

The Russian pro-Holocaust propaganda, of which the above RT article is but an example, is self-serving. It seeks to obscure the role of the Soviet Union in midwifing (not fathering, because it had several fathers) the monstrous lie of the “Holocaust. It was the Soviets who “retrofitted” the so-called “gas chambers.” Crudely, it is true, but serviceably enough for propaganda purposes, it seems.

I realize that in its current circumstances, under virtual siege by the anglo-zionist empire from without (NATO military bases all around it) and within (the NGOs, the so-called dissidents), Russia’s leadership may feel that national unity is paramount, and national unity is best forged by strong patriotism. Patriotism is best served to the masses black and white; it rejects grey, beige, “buts” or any other equivocation. Nevertheless the increased fervor of the Duma (with popular support) to come up with new laws to restrict freedom of speech, genuine historical research and an honest national dialog is worrisome.

I root for Russia out of self interest, because I believe that the mad, mad world of the anglo-zionist empire needs a counterweight, but I also believe that a grandiose project, like the one Putin has embarked on, if built on lies, is neither ultimately sustainable nor desirable, which would be a pity.
