Israeli Police: Arabs and Falasha More Criminal

Israel’s Police Commissioner Roni Alsheich has said it is “natural” for officers to suspect Ethiopian (“Falasha”) Jews and Arabs in Israel of being more involved in crime—because they are.

His comments have been almost completely blacked out by the West’s controlled media—unlike the treatment they would give any European who dared to point out the truth.

According to a report in Israel’s Ynet News, Alsheich made the remarks while speaking at an Israel Bar Association (IBA) meeting this week.

He said that it was “to be expected” that police officers would be more suspicious of Ethiopian Jews and Arabs in Israel.

“In all criminological studies around the world it is proven that immigrants are more involved in crime than others, and this should not surprise us.

“In addition, all studies prove that young people are more involved in crime. When these two things converge, a situation is created in which a particular community is involved in crime,” the police chief continued.

“This was the case in all the waves of immigration [to Israel]. When there is a community that is more involved in crime—also with regard to Arabs or East Jerusalem, and the statistics are known—when a police officer meets a suspect, naturally enough his mind suspects him more than if he were someone else. That is natural.”

Alsheich’s comments were backed up by Israeli Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan, who said that the “police chief didn’t justify the over-policing phenomenon against Israelis of Ethiopian descent. He did exactly the opposite.”

According to the Israeli Haaretz newspaper, there have been several high-profile clashes between police and the Falasha Jews over the past year over alleged “over-policing.”

In this regard, Erdan said that Alsheich’s remarks were an admission of the problem, and an attempt to explain the mindset of the police officers involved in the incidents.

“Israelis of Ethiopian descent are an inseparable part of Israeli society and of the Israel Police, and we’re working together with members of the community and its leaders to mend the past’s mistakes,” Erdan said.

Haaretz also reported that the Israeli police had issued a statement saying that Alsheich “had no intention of harming Israelis of Ethiopian descent.”

The statement said that his remarks were “meant to allow the correction and improvement of the interfaces between the police and police officers and Ethiopians.”

The remarks have so far not appeared in a single major U.S. media outlet.

If, however, a white police chief anywhere had made such comments, the same media would make a big noise over “racism” and “bigotry.”

However, because it is a Jew making these remarks, the controlled media can equally be relied upon to cover it up.

* Contrary to popular belief, Israel only has a tiny number of Falasha Jews. There are about 135,500 in Israel, including more than 50,000 born inside the country.

They were airlifted to Israel in the 1980s and 1990s after a rabbinical ruling that they were direct descendants of the biblical Jewish Dan tribe.

Even though their numbers are small, they have not been welcomed in Israel. In 2013, the government was forced to admit that its medical personnel were forcibly administering birth control injections to Ethiopian Jewish women without their consent or knowledge.

More than half of the Ethiopians in Israel live in poverty and only half graduate from high school.
