Peter Pan the Neverland pedophile

The monster of Neverland: How JM Barrie did a ‘Peter Pan’ and stole another couple’s children

The boys – five in all, eventually – were the sons of a struggling lawyer, Arthur Llewelyn Davies, and his wife Sylvia. From that first meeting, Barrie became an intimate of the family, lavishing money on them for motor cars and holidays abroad they could not otherwise afford.

But it was the boys he focused his attention on. Physically more like an older brother than a grown man, he wowed and wooed them with his fertile, child-like imagination, throwing himself with complete abandon into games of pirates and redskins and coral island castaways.

The outdoor adventures they shared, the sleepovers, the story-telling, all became the fantasy world of Neverland, with Wendy and the Lost Boys, Tinkerbell and Captain Hook – tales that would endure for a century and more.

But the truth that lay behind this child-friendly panorama was deeply unsettling. In a book published next week, author Piers Dudgeon – who in previous works shone light into the shady corners of the life of Catherine Cookson – lays out what he calls ‘the dark side of Neverland’.

The problems he highlights are not those that have attracted attention in the 70 years since Barrie’s death – the sexual overtones and the physical over-familiarity that would have observers calling social services in today’s paedophile-conscious society.

His sexuality was not the issue. Barrie was almost certainly impotent and his “fake” marriage was never consummated, according to Mary, his wife for 15 years: ‘Love in its fullest sense could never be felt by him or experienced.’

Instead, his thrills came from the power dynamics of relationships and playing mind games with people, at which he proved a master. This was what made Barrie a dangerous man to know, particularly for children.

Scottish-born, the son of a weaver, he had made his way in the world from humble origins. But, as a boy, he had been rejected by his mother, cast to one side while she grieved for his older brother, dead in an accident.

The accident happened while ice skating, the older boy, on the eve of his 14th birthday, falling on the ice and fracturing his skull. Dudgeon speculates that the seven-year-old Barrie may have been responsible, for which his mother could not bring herself to forgive him.

The monster of Neverland: How JM Barrie did a ‘Peter Pan’ and stole another couple’s children

WTF?!? Is this legitimate?? Or did the author of this upcoming book and DM article quickly rewrite the life of J.M. Barrie so it sounds *just* like a profile of Michael Jackson?

So now suddenly there are *two* “Neverland” perverts (separates by generations) and this shady alleged Barrie stuff is only coming out now that the Neverland Jackson documentary has come out?

I hadn’t heard any of this stuff before (about the writer); has anyone else?

I totally believe ALL the Jackson allegations, but I’m divided on Barrie only because it just seems like an oddly convenient time to suddenly accuse him of being a pedo using his own (original) Neverland to do pedo things just like Jacko (right when all the real Jacko stuff is finally dropping in the press for the first time…)

I’m not sure what to think about the author as I don’t persoballly know too much aboit his history or personal life (although I definitely had *never* heard anything like this before) and now I really don’t know what to think🤷🏻‍♂️

Jackson is of course 100% perv. Don’t know about the original author though…

What do you guys think?

J M Barrie being a pedo is not a new report. Look at the article it’s from 2008!

J M Barrie apparently stopped growing due to the trauma of his brother’s death. His mother never got over the loss of her eldest son, even on her death bed decades later she was bemoaning his early demise. Barrie used to pretend to be his brother to try and cheer her up. Such a fucked up childhood was bound to affect him profoundly, I don’t think he was a paedo but he certainly used children to try and capture an idyllic childhood he never had.

Isn’t this what happened to Michael Jackson also? He wanted to capture the childhood he never had.

Dudgeon sees Barrie as being eerily associated with the tragedies that befell the family after he befriended them: first Arthur and Sylvia’s early deaths, followed by that of George, as a young soldier in the First World War in 1915, then Michael’s drowning (widely held to have been a suicide) as an undergraduate at Oxford in 1921; Daphne’s breakdown in 1957; Jack’s death from lung disease in 1959; and Peter’s suicide in 1960. (Only Nico escapes the shadow of Barrie, according to Dudgeon’s account, by virtue of his unusually sunny personality.)

Have You Ever Heard The Theory of Peter Pan Being A Pedophile Who Kills Children

1. Peter kills Lost Boys when they become too old. In the OG book, it reads, “When [the Lost Boys] seem to be growing up, which is against the rules, Peter thins them out.” Umm…

2. Peter is a pedophile. “Peter Pan is old and it’s implied that he has been outside [Neverland] many times. And from his distaste of adults he knows, seen, heard things so he’s not exactly innocent. He never grows up physically but mentally he is as wise and adult as a person can be and more. It just something that dawned on me after reading that the author might be a pedo so I guess he wrote this tale for reflection or something.”

And this was the shit that actually has me wondering if it could be true.

After the author got revealed to be a pedophile a few years ago I think he wrote Peter Pan as a pedo.

Oh give me a break! So tired of hearing that Michael never having a childhood caused him to become obsessed with boys.

Plenty of people, in fact whole generations of people have had their childhoods cut short and had to deal with the most difficult upbringings imaginable, but they did not talk in squeaky children’s voices, hold sleepovers for seven year olds or build amusement parks especially to lure boys in.

[R1] This has been known. MJ CHOSE the name Neverland, he chose to idealize Barrie, he talked about him in interviews. He knew. All pedos know.

And yes, Lewis Carroll was a pedophile. I don’t know if he ever physically molested the little girl he fixated on (the model for Alice), though.

Carroll was a mathematician but his hobby was photography and nude little girls was his favorite subject to photograph. Many of the photographs still exist and are easily found with a google search. Scholars are divided as to whether he was an actual, practicing pedophile. But everyone agrees he was very brilliant but very weird.

Likewise, Barrie: a brilliant but strange and tormented guy and no one is quite sure whether he was a practicing pedo. A widely held theory is that his genitals never developed beyond childhood (I forget the medical term for the condition) and as an adult he was unable to have sex, at least normal sex. Extremely controlling and full of drama and he probably destroyed the children he at first befriended and then adopted after their parents’ early deaths. The Johnny Depp film Finding Neverland and the recent musical based on it are highly romanticized versions of the story.

Most people today know Barrie only from Peter Pan but in his day he was considered a highly accomplished man of letters and was a very successful playwright and novelist. Most of his plays were big hits in their day several are still occasionally revived.

Lewis Carroll was more of a confirmed bachelor than a paedophile. It was also quite fashionable in Victorian times to have pictures of naked children as art, it was a much more innocent time.

No, this is a popular fallacy. It was not more innocent times. People had as much sex drive and as many perversions as “modern” homo sapiens, barely any time passed anyway. It were somewhat less civilized times, in that rape, molestation and incest went on unchecked. Pedophiles who created entire classic novels out of their grooming material also usually molested their marks back then, according to common sense.

Beware of grown men who want to “befriend” your kids. Most normal men can’t stand the lil brats.
