Air Force Staff Sgt. Daryn Moran is getting his wings clipped, presumably for insisting that President Obama wasn’t born in the U.S.

The U.S. Air Force in Europe said Moran “is currently outprocessing for discharge from the Air Force, which was previously approved by his commander on August 4th.” There was no statement explaining the reason for the discharge.

The final straw apparently came when Moran, a hero of the so-called “birther” movement, refused to report to duty in Germany where he was previously deployed.

Over the past week, Moran has taken to online forums and his Twitter account to denounce the commander in chief as “a criminal” and “the enemy” while claiming that Obama was not born in Hawaii, as his birth certificate has shown.

Moran has also been outspoken about his opposition to the repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell,” which will allow gays and lesbians to serve openly in the military.

Staff Sgt. Daryn Moran, 41 years old, 13 years in service and still a Staff Sergeant. Lol good riddance, this military welfare queen is a waste of tax money.
So he questioned the birth of the Pres.
He questions the Pres. muslim connections.
He questiones the unending war and military involvement.
Yeah, this is just the beginning.
At some people will elect honorable men again…. or suffer the consequences of not doing so.

I separated from the Air Force after 9 years, this past October. I can relate to this man. I was tired of supporting fake wars, and not being able to have an opinion. I was asked to lie about things and when my enlistment was up in October, I left. It was the happiest moment of my life other than the birth of my child.

Moran should have known that joining the military limits your rights. They tell you these things before you enlist. He did some incredibly stupid things and is paying the price. I got out after one enlistment in the USMC because I did not care for those limits being placed on me. He should have kept his mouth shut and did the same thing.
- Moran was an idiot. You do not have the right to refuse orders. plain and simple. you want to complain, do it to your hearts content when off duty. but he got what he deserved. I don’t know where obama was born and don’t really care right now. he has a birth cert. that was validated by the state so that is that. you don’t like that fact you leave the service when your time is up.

Moran was an ophthalmology technician with the 86th Airlift Wing at Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany, where he had been stationed since October 2010.

He was put on leave sometime earlier this year after some of his co-workers at the eye clinic were bothered by comments he made about the repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell” and about Muslim terrorists and how he thought Obama was connected to Muslims.
As an American, Daryn has a right to use his Freedom of Speech. I am in agreement with him anyways, Botero was not born here, NOT a citizen, so technically, how can you really obey the Commander in Chief? Too bad all the guys and gals in the military don’t go AWOL to end these expensive and useless wars!
- As a member of the military Daryn is subject to UCMJ.

1. There is white space behind every letter typed on it which makes it a poor photo shopped looking document. or
2. The fact that no one had a chance to dispute it seeing that 3 days later our attention was diverted to the death of OBL story.

If it has come down to Sgt. Moran not even showing up for work then, like all other employers, the best thing to do is just to let him go.

Besides, this is what is called, in military parlance, A.W.O.L. (Away WithOut Leave) and is a punishable offense under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, notably Article XV.
- AWOL usually means Absence (Absent) With Out Leave. He should therefore be kicked out of the military.
  
  I think in this case, it’s clearly obvious why he’s being kicked out of the military.
  - If it is not a legal “Commander in Chief” the Sgt cannot be held accountable to uphold the oath….to serve an illegal “President”
    This has been debated by the top brass of the Marine Corps…
    whose oath is the primary mission … to safeguard the Commander in Chief…
    against all other branches of the military.
    The Marines are staying silent.

Everyone needs a hobby I guess, however this SSG knew what he was doing. Only he and those to whom he shared his thoughts, will ever know the real reason. Germany is damn good duty, ESPECIALLY for the Air Force! Ever been to Ramstein AFB? It could be a helluva lot worse.
In Sum: The guy refused to deploy. No matter the reason, he’s lucky to get off as easy as he did.

Personal principles and ethics are of no account when “your country” (i.e., a bunch of politicians otherwise subject to universal distrust) calls?   I am ex Air Force. I could not agree more with SSG. I got out when I was sent on a mission to build a runway in the Central America in the middle of no where so the US Gov could run more cocaine into the USA. I got out one week after I got back before my contract ended. If people like me and SSG were still in, the Gov and CIA would be out of business. We would not be in debt. We would niot have homeless, unemployed people on the streets. All the taxes would not be looted by the Military complex, the banks, the CIA, and the survelance contractors.

Barry Soetoro is not qualified constitutionally to be President regardless of where he was born. This fake birth certificate is exactly that.
