U.S. Geological Survey geophysicist Jill McCarthy said there were two tremors Saturday — a 4.7 magnitude about 2 a.m. and a 5.6 magnitude shortly before 11 p.m., and a series of aftershocks in between.
The magnitude 5.6 earthquake in Oklahoma on Saturday night felt was as far as Wisconsin, U.S. Geological Survey geophysicist Jill McCarthy said.
“We have had eight recorded earthquakes (in Oklahoma) in the past 24 hours or so,” she said.

It was weird. I was sitting on the couch at about 10:50 pm last night in Wichita, Ks. I had never felt an earthquake and when it happened I stood up and thought I was imagining things. It was so faint here that I really thought did that just happen or was it me. Soon after that both cell and home phones started ringing with my friends and family asking me if they were just crazy or did we just experience an earthquake.
