  1. Just leave everyone alone to live their lives. This is so completely unnecessary. Arresting people for studying and teaching the Bible, the good book, at home. WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Don’t get it.

True, the guy build a huge facility in his back yard and is annoying his neighbors. If the people were actually inside his house, he probably would never have had any problems.

In case you’re instersted in the REAL story, from Phoenix news:

“They’re cracking down on religious activities and religious use,” Salman told Fox News Radio. “They’re attacking what I as a Christian do in the privacy of my home.”

Vicki Hill, Phoenix’s chief assistant city prosecutor, said religious freedom had nothing to do with it and that it was a matter of public safety.

“Any time you are holding a gathering of people continuously, as he does – we have concerns about people being able to exit the facility properly in case there is a fire,” Hill told Fox News Radio. “It came down to zoning and proper permitting.”

The battle between Salman and the city of Phoenix is a longstanding feud. Hill said that Salman’s neighbors complained of the gatherings back in 2007 because they were causing too much traffic congestion.

When he didn’t stop hosting the groups, the Phoenix Fire Department broke up a Good Friday gathering Salman was hosting at his home in 2008 in which there were as many as 20 people in the backyard.

Salman then decided to construct a 2,000-square-foot building in his backyard and move the gatherings there. He said that he applied for and was granted the appropriate permits for the building.

Hill, however, said that the permits Salman received were for converting his garage into a game room.

Finally, in 2009, a dozen cops raided Salman’s home and charged him with 67 code violations for hosting the gatherings.

Since then, the courts have sided with the city, saying that Salman was using the building as a church and, therefore, was subject to city zoning laws.

“He built a structure that he said wasn’t a church that is, in fact, a church,” Hill told Fox News Radio.

“The state is not saying that the Salmans can’t run a church or have worship services at the location,” read a Jan. 4, 2010, Arizona court ruling. “But the state is saying that if they do so, they must do it properly and in accord with fire and zoning laws.”

Actually Glen, all “zoning laws” are Void

They were created in 1913 along with income tax, property seisures, eminent domain abuses, the IRS, and other Soviet style concentrations of power and theft.

IF YOU OWN THE LAND you have complete authority over its use – PERIOD
    That’s what property ownership means!!!!
The neigbors have NO RIGHTS other than what they choose to do on their own property!

If the guy parks on their lawn – they can sue
If the guy creates noise – they can sue
If the guy polutes their property – they can sue

BUT ZONING IS AS ABSURD AS KELO VS NEW LONDON
Throw out the last 100 years of tyranical law and START OVER!

And what, every Christian is not corrupted. Ergo, every non Christian is corrupt? Pfft.

A corrupted Christian is not a Christian at all. Too many people refer to themselves as Christians but only blaspheme the word.

darryl is correct, for that those that refer to themselves as Christians are being tested just where do they stand with the Father and with Jesus Christ.

You need to get a clue. Next it could be you for having a family gathering at your home.

  5. I’m glad my neighbor doesn’t have 40 guest come over every day and block up the entire street.

  6. Anything unconstitutional can be ignored and resisted as false arrest.

they give themselves away way to easy. like you said . boot-lickers.

  8. well the useless keyboards are full batteries against god when there a chance to do so ….useless breathers hate god …useless breathers think there god ….just fruitless fig tress dressed in three piece scum covers …its a same this has been totaly infected by useless keyboard trolls

  9. THE ONE WORLD RELIGION……project bluebeam…… it has begun. you can be darn shure that 9/11 is part of that plan. A symbol takes on power as more people give it attention?
The twin towers was a synbol, a symbol destroyed and blames on a religious extremists to feed division so the prophecies can come true?

Is the NWO more than what so many cannot figure out?Have these rulers finally come to understand humanity and the effects of division that was created with religions, politics and social culture beliefs will never give peace on this planet? unless a one world vision is created?

Saddly they might realise that it is impossible as long as people like to fight and kill? like a revolving door humanity keeps turning around and around and around in a matrix of warfare and chaos that eventually leads to extermination of so many?

Maybe the NWO think heads have come to a conclusion there is no other way to change this world we live in than to press the reset button??????

BUt my question to such a potential question is: why not end it in a more humain way?
They hold the technologies that could close the lights for most of us like flicking a switch to OFF yet they prefer violence and chaos to acheive it??? would this mean these people feed on human emotions ? this is why the media mainstream and all other form feed the listeners negative news energies????24/24 like never before in human history?

Since humans cannot get along and history prooves this even more to this day, maybe the higher spheres of rule have decided to end it all for so many of us who just cannot follow 10 simple commandments? and how many military trained murderers follow Orders originating from the masters of warfare?

    something to think about?

  10. It is all part of the war on God. They removed God from your nation. they removed God from the governments They removed God from your education centers. They removed God from the streets. They removed God from you places of business. And now, they are removing God from your homes as they have been removing God from your hearts. But yet, all of you walk around with its markings, the ID system. ‘Causing all man small and great, rich or poor, free or bound to receive a mark.’ That is the actual translation.

“And you all continue to be obedient to the very system that oppresses you, why?”

Not true, time to read up on the truth behind the lie of ommission. It’s not about religion, it’s about a serious violation of building code for the new building he built that didn’t meet code in a residential neighborhood.

Even if it were about code violation, it still means the government is overstepping. I am sick of all their rules and regulations, the country would be a better place with less of them, much less.

codes should be put up who ever put them in to place a**’s

  11. If you do your own research on this story you’ll find this man lied on his building permit for his 2,000 sq. foot building application claiming it was a conversion for purposes of a garage. He advertised the building as a church with a cross depiction near the curb in front of his home. The building did not meet code for large gatherings posing a fire hazard not having proper exits.

He built this structure to accommodate a larger number of people likely so he could obtain more donations. It wasn’t a Bible Study situation, it was a home grown church business. He is likely using this fraud to get more donations and attention for himself thanks to sites like this.

If you had a neighbor who brought in that kind of foot traffic with a building that violated code in your residential neighborhood, how would you feel?

  12. Sorry I do not believe this!!
This was a specific case and please make 100% sure of your facts and do not turn the truth!

  13. Where did all these bootlickers come from?? Since when do the people on this site, side with bureacrats hiding behind code enforcements? Oh, I see, you don’t like what this man is doing, you don’t AGREE with his beliefs.

Either you believe in limits of the government and more personal freedom or you don’t. There is no middle ground. A 2000 square foot building is not very big, its basically an average sized house. As for traffic complaints, unless these people were parking in the neighbors driveway, it doesn’t matter they don’t like it, they don’t own the street in front of their homes.

No this is just more powergrabbing from the government.

If your neighbors were member of the Unification Church they decided to build a 2,000 sq ft moonie church in their backyard and had people worshipping there several days a week blocking up your neighborhood traffic and parking in front of your home, I’m betting you would have a cow.
Frankly after 7 years of harassing their neighbors they are really lucky their neighbors didn’t wait for them to go on vacation and burn it down and maybe their house too just to make sure they got the message.

Many people just don’t get the concept that if they empower the govt. to use force to compel someone to change a behavior that they disagree with, that same power can then be used to manage some aspect of their lives that others disagree with. Sad but true. Either freedom and liberty for everybody, or eventually it’ll be freedom and liberty for nobody. And even if he used the room for a game room only once a month, and then used it for other purposes the rest of the month, so what? Those of you that are controll freaks just can’t stand it.

    Ho of Babylon Reply:

Still others can’t grasp that if they don’t empower the government to interfere in disputes everything will be settled at gunpoint and neighborhoods will all be run by mafias. If my neighbors have a party and their guests park in front of my home on occasion that is completely fine. Every week or even multiple times a week and for years on end? No freaking way. If people cannot be counted on to behave civilly towards their neighbors they leave their neighbors no other recourse than to counterreact.

  14. Thank you (for pointing that out)! However at the same time, Christians are being singled out on this one. People have large gatherings (violating codes) all the time. Example: Birthdays, weddings, family functions, TGIF gatherings , but as soon as “Christ” is introduced to the scenario it’s now a bylaw concern! this is the slow destruction of Christianity in the U.S. its happening and has been happening all around the world since the dawn of time!
