A mother was stabbed to death along with her 13-year-old son and two daughters, aged five and seven, in Baghdad’s Kamaliyah neighborhood on Monday, AFP reported.
Also in Baghdad, a bomb attack killed two people and injured five others.
Another bombing killed an Iraqi army major and wounded two soldiers in the city of Latifiyah, south of the capital, which is home to a US patrol base.
The attacks came four days after 10 people were killed in a twin bombing at a coffee shop in Baqubah, the capital of Diyala province.
Two Iraqi policemen were also shot dead in Baqubah on Sunday.
Bombings and killings take place across the country on a daily basis, often targeting Shia-majority areas and local security forces.
