Tehran, Feb 29, IRNA – Minister of Interior Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said on Monday that election turnout was registered 50 percent in Tehran and 62 percent in other provinces for parliament and the Assembly of Experts.
Rahmani Fazli told reporters that vote count has ended and the first 30 top candidates garnering majority of votes found their way to the parliament.
He said the interior ministry is ready to probe any complaints.
He thanked all the executive, media and security organs and interior ministry for their decisive role in the elections.
