The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas on Friday hailed the deployment of a joint Palestinian force to ensure the placement of a ceasefire in the Ein Al-Hilweh refugee camp in south Lebanon. “This is an important measure in the right direction,” Hamas representative in Lebanon Ahmed Abdul Hadi confirmed, pointing out that it is part of a proposal by Speaker of Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri.
