Amory Lovins Wants us to ‘Reinvent Fire’ with 50-Year Energy Plan

Easier to Get Where You’re Going if You Have a Roadmap

Dr. Amory Lovins (what a name!) is the chairman and chief scientist of the Rocky Mountain Institute. He has been working on energy policy, both for governments and businesses, for at least 40 years, and nobody can say that he’s not thinking big. His vision for a more sustainable future isn’t about changing small things, but rather, it encompasses whole sectors of our society.

If you like the TED Talk above, make sure to check out the book Reinventing Fire. I haven’t had a chance to read it yet, but I’ve got it on order, and will review it once I’ve read it.
