Anonymous hacks tear gas company

In a statement posted online on Tuesday, the hackers claimed to have infiltrated Combined Systems Inc.’s website and collected personal information about clients and employees of the firm, which is based in Jamestown, Pennsylvania.

Anonymous said the company is run by war profiteers and sells “mad chemical weapons to militaries and cop shops around the world.”

The group also said that it had attacked the security company because it was supplying arms used “to repress our revolutionary movements.”

According to Egyptian news outlets, the US government has exported tons of tear gas to Egypt, which is being used by the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF), which is currently ruling the country, to crack down on protesters, who are demanding that the military junta hand over power to a civilian government.

Anonymous is an amorphous collection of “hacktivists” who have been responsible for cyber attacks on various companies, governments, and individuals in recent years.
