ISLAMABAD/WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Pakistan warned the United States it risks losing an ally if it continued to accuse Islamabad of playing a double game in the war against militancy, escalating the crisis in relations between the two countries.
Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar was responding to comments by U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen, who said Pakistan’s top spy agency was closely tied to the Haqqani network, the most violent and effective faction among Islamic Taliban militants in Afghanistan.
It is the most serious allegation leveled by the United States against nuclear-armed and Muslim-majority Pakistan since they began an alliance in the “war on terror” a decade ago.
“You will lose an ally,” Khar told Geo TV in New York in remarks broadcast on Friday.

I’m also reading up on how they’re becoming wonderful friends with China too. They’ve signed an agreement to share nuclear technology, and build 3 more reactors for Pakistan too !
And to think we’re worried about Iran having nuclear ?
Bush said ‘if you are with us, then you are against us’. another US leader said ‘we will nuke them back to the stone age’ then denied ever having said that. Pakistan is describing the present situation ‘you can’t live with us, you can’t live without us’. The US wants to leave Afghanistan but wants to pin the blame for its failure on Pakistan.
Since when has the US cared about allies? We bomb whom we want, when we want. Pakistan has complained for a long time to get us to stop bombing.
If WW3 must occur, think about it,
is it not the game of US policy to loose this ally???
