This week on CopBlock Radio we discuss Copblockers on trial, including representatives from Texas, Allentown, Carbon County And Lehigh Valley CopBlock groups all seeing a judge It feels like the state has targeted those that film police or exercise their rights. The campaign being run by police calls for jail and violence to be used against those that would questions them.
Our first guests of the night was my co-defendants Scott Marshall and Rick Gonzalez. Scott is the founder of The Oath Accountability Project and the co-founder of Carbon County Copblock. Rick is the founder of Allentown Copblock. Together we took on the police head on and ended up victorious but still felt hollow. Knowing that other CopBlockers have been shafted in other courts lately had the victory feeling short lived.
Scott and Rick stayed on to discuss a story about the same State Police that we just were in court with. The story is about 29 Pennsylvania state police cadets that were caught cheating.

Our final story of the top half is out of Buffalo, NY and involves a 27 year old woman. The mystery of how this woman was so severely injured, while in a cage, surrounded by people, is ongoing but what we do know is that India Cummings was a woman with some mental health struggles. She is also a woman that was beaten beyond recognition while in police custody, needing major emergency surgery. More answers are needed in this case. Sadly the thin blue line is in full effect and those that could answer questions, for whatever reasons, are refusing to. You can read the full story HERE
We return for the second half of the show with our weekly phone call from Deo, inside the jail. His spirits seem high even as he tells us about the guards tossing his cell. He is getting used to the idea of spending several months there and has started a routine to keep himself busy.

We are joined by Joe from Texas Copblock for our next story. Joe was arrested with another man for open carrying. Something that is perfectly legal in the state of Texas. While I suspect the police were more worried about the cameras these men were carrying than any gun, none of that would matter when Joe’s friend was convicted. The jury would once again be filled by lies about what dangerous and vile people us “copblockers” are. The deck was stacked going in there.
Joe stayed to discuss the arrest of activist Brett Sanders. Brett was open carrying over the weekend when he was kidnapped for not showing the kings paperwork. Texas is not a stop and identify state so the police are asserting is if you wish to open carry you waive your right to not identify. Sounds dumb to me too believe me.
