A North Fort Myers woman who was murdered last month was also sexually assaulted.
The suspect, Brett Pleasant, now faces a sexual assault charge in addition to charges of second-degree murder and robbery.
Leasure, 77, was found dead June 21 at her condo after she failed to show up to church.
Pleasant, 51, was released from a Maine prison earlier this year. He was arrested June 29 for Leasure’s murder.
