Do you guys remember that time Croatia called Hungary immoral for not allowing unlimited “migrant” into their base? And then they closed their own border 48 hours later and started trying to traffic people into Hungary?
Well, they’re still dealing with this. They should have been watching Hungary and started building a fence before the hordes showed up.
Thousands of migrants clamored to enter European Union member Croatia from Serbia on Monday after a night spent in the cold and mud of no-man’s land, their passage west slowed by a Slovenian effort to impose limits on the flow to western Europe.
Croatian police held them back, with its own refugee camps full to capacity, a Reuters reporter said. In western Croatia, up to 2,000 more spent the night on a train stranded near the border with fellow EU member Slovenia, which was refusing entry.
With Hungary closing its border with Croatia to migrants at midnight on Friday, the unrelenting flow has been diverted to Slovenia en route to Austria and Germany, the favored destination for most migrants, many of them refugees from the Syrian war.
But Slovenia has imposed a daily limit of around 2,500, saying it will only take in as many as can exit into Austria.
Slovenia said Austria was accepting a maximum of 1,500, far fewer than were previously entering from Hungary, though the Austrian interior ministry said it could not confirm this.
Upwards of 5,000 are flowing across Balkan border daily, from Greece where they arrive by boat and dinghy from Turkey, into Macedonia and Serbia, both poor former Yugoslav republics with barely the capacity to cope.
A Reuters reporter on the Serbian side of the border with Croatia said there was no apparent police presence to help maintain order. Cold and tired, migrants chanted “Open the gate, open the gate!”
This is a siege.
If Merkel wants these people, she needs to send someone to pick them up. If she doesn’t want them, she needs to send someone to force them back into Turkey. How is that not simply the popular demand of everyone in Europe?
This crisis was caused by a single individual: Merkel. And she is refusing accountability, mainly because no one is bothering to try to hold her accountable.

Croatia opened its border with Serbia for migrants Monday, letting in thousands who have been stranded for nearly two days as colder weather approaches, according to a United Nations refugee agency official.
Spokeswoman Melita Sunjic, who is on the border, said that “without any announcement, the borders opened. When the borders opened, everybody rushed” over.
Sunjic said “the last person to go was a young boy without a leg, and we helped him cross in a wheelchair.”
There were between 2,000 and 3,000 migrants stuck on the border in mud and rain when the gates were opened.
Doctors have warned of medicine shortages for as many as 10,000 refugees stranded in Serbia, Sky News reports. Those doctors say insufficient aid could severely affect children suffering from hypothermia.
“We don’t have a chance to treat, we don’t have the actual medicine to be given out to them, we don’t have any more rain coats,” Dr. Ramiz Momeni, London-based founder of the Humanitas Charity, told Sky News.
“There is a lack of food, lack of blankets, we are missing everything,” UN Refugee Agency spokeswoman Melita Sunjic also told the media outlet.
At the same time they are considering a fence to keep the swine in Syria.

Croatia cannot rule out erecting a fence similar to Hungary’s razor-wire barrier to manage the flow of migrants across its borders, the country’s president told CNBC.
In an exclusive interview over the weekend, Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic left the door open to the prospect of a physical barrier after more than 200,000 migrants crossed into the Balkan country over the past month, according to police estimates.
On Friday, Hungary’s right-wing government sealed off its southern frontier with Croatia after closing off its Serbian border last month, blaming the European Union for failing to agree on a plan to the stem the flow of asylum-seekers at its summit last Thursday.
“We have to admit that every country to protect its own borders. I don’t look at this [Hungary’s fence] as an act against anyone. The fact of the matter is that we have been flooded with migrant flows, and it has become very difficult to manage the flow of people,” Grabar-Kitarovic told CNBC.
“I would like to avoid the situation where we have to put any kind of physical barrier on the border, but I have always requested from our government a tight control of the border… I don’t know about the fence, I don’t exclude it as a possibility in the future.”
Again, it is an obvious fact that all of this is Merkel’s responsibility. She needs to find a way to deal with it, to get these people into Germany. It is no one else’s problem.
And I am sick of defending the German people.
How many times have they elected this stupid bitch?
What are they doing now to defend Europe?
If Germany wants to die, then let them die. Just let them be eaten alive by these monkeys. It is no one else’s problem.
