Dear Federal Government: Go To Hell

NOTE: The following was based on a speech given at a freedom rally hosted by State sovereignty advocate and Washington State Representative Matt Shea on Aug. 30.

Almost everyone I know has written a letter to the Federal government. Many of them have contacted their Representatives or Senators at some point. They have emailed, faxed or even called — asking, demanding or just plain begging these politicians to do something or not.

I never have.

Why? Because I believe it is an absurd idea to ask the Federal government to fix problems it created, and that doing so just doesn’t work.

For example, those on the antiwar left got a “peace President” who has bombed Libya and massively expanded the wars in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Many of those same progressives vehemently opposed the Patriot Act forced upon us by former President George W. Bush and the Republicans. With the Democrats in power, they got more of the same. Again.

  1. Wake up and realize that you must act if your way of life is to be preserved. Everyone knows that actions speak louder than words. It is now time for action! Unlike talking, more action is needed! If you are willing to take action read on?

The modern-day equivalent of adding the Bill of Rights to the Constitution is a political movement that will make government, local, state and national, more transparent, less corrupt, more accountable, less wasteful, more fair and equitable. That political movement is “The People’s Branch” at ThePeoplesBranch(dot)org. The People’s Branch is a realistic, reasonable and non-violent, way for the people to regain control of government.

There are those that are still asleep and convinced in their beliefs that modern times don’t require a more reasonable and fitting form of control over government. They believe that what may have worked for government over a hundred years ago can’t be improved upon. They are wrong!

The People’s Branch is working to give the constituents of each elected official the power to participate directly in the governing process alongside that elected official. This will grant all voting constituents of an elected officials to become part of that elected official’s ultimate check and balance. The technology now exists that can implement this. Literally The People’s Branch.

Implementing a “People’s Branch” at each level of government, local, state and national, will guarantee a government that is more transparent, less corrupt, more accountable, less wasteful, more fair and equitable. Yet, why is it that even though everyone is for better government a political movement that would ultimately improve government at all levels by neutralizing special interest’s control is yet to be implemented?

There has never been a greater need for the political solution(s) provided by The People’s Branch. But no one is saying it is going to be easy. Yet, neither was the Civil Rights movement or the Women’s Suffrage movement, etc., etc. Politicians fear this political movement because they know that if it succeeds then their power and control will come to an end and the people’s influence upon government will truly begin.

Talk is always going to be cheap. However, if you want improvement in government then you should be willing to take action and get involved in the only political solution that has a chance to truly reform the evils of government in a sustainable way! This political movement will work everywhere. Start a petition drive. You, your family and future generations will appreciate the positive changes.

  2. Attempting to assert Sovereignty/Tenth Ammendment powers is a step in the right direction that ultimately falls short of the mark unless the following four points are carried out. They are:

    1) Any state that would stand up to the federal govt. and assume its rightful place as sovereign over it and put the fed back into its place of very limited powers needs to cease taking any and all federal subsidies for anything. Federal money to the states is like a tampon … it comes with a string attached, and is designed to become a bloody mess and ultimately get flushed down the toilet. Whatever they subsidise they gain a power of regulation over. Reject federal funds, period.
    2) If your state has a state income tax, that must be eliminated. Since all state income taxes are predicated upon liability for federal income tax, which I will cover below, to have a state income tax is to be a partner in crime with the federal government in what is the largest financial crime in the history of this planet which is federal income tax
    3) The federal income tax bleeds money out of a state that would assert its rightful position over the federal govt, and, while applied extremely broadly, is narrowly written. It was never supposed to be a tax on the fruits of the labor of the American people but has become that, putting the weight of a fiat money system on our backs … i.e., we are supposed to give the money system the substance of our labor. But before the federal govt. could attach the earnings of the average American worker, a nexus had to have been put in place. That nexus is Social Security. Most people believe that Social Security/SSN use is somehow required by law. IT IS NOT, and, by law, is 100% voluntary. Stop volunteering for Social Security and no liability is incurred for FICA, Medicare, federal income tax, state income tax, local income tax, and soon Obamacare. ALL of that hinges upon SSN use, that, while is 100% voluntary by law is enforced at near `100% by the private sector via policies based upon ignorance and fear. THEREFORE … a state that would be sovereign over the federal govt. needs to pass legislation that would require full plain language disclosure of all liabilities incurred anytime an SSN is asked for.
    4) The federal govt. has abdicated its responsibility to coin lawful money, i.e., gold and silver coinage. A state that would be sovereign needs to start minting gold and silver coin.
    5) One last point … and this would require 38 states … the 17th ammendment must be repealed. Senators need to be appointed by their respective state legislatures again such that the state legislatures are represented in Congress.

THERE’S GOT TO BE AN ANSWER

At least that’s what I keep telling myself. Above, is an article containing one novel solution. The author suggests we send letters and emails with a simple message. “Dear federal government: Go to Hell!’ Well, why not? That is what they tell us daily. No matter what we think. No matter what we want. No matter how we feel. They couldn’t care less.

And that’s the problem. The problem isn’t individual solutions to single problems. The problem is THEM. Asking them for solutions is like asking a snake for anti venom. Sending any letters to them or making any phone calls to them is a waste of time. In researching history, I have not found a single example of tyranny being reversed through a political process. There was always force or the threat of force being used in order to get “THEM” to voluntarily give up power and money. And, no, I am not suggesting anyone pick up arms to oppose the space age weapons possessed by THEM.

I am suggesting one very small step. Do not vote. I know, many will think we are throwing in the towel and in a way, we are. The voting process in the U.S. today is almost entirely useless to the average citizen. Both major parties are entirely controlled. Much of the process of counting votes is consumed with fraud and if, by some miracle, someone who actually intends to represent average citizens gets elected, they do all they can to get rid of him or her.

This idea is not new. In many so-called democratic elections throughout the world, citizens routinely refuse to participate. Governments, in turn, threaten them with arrest if they do not vote. Governments can hardly claim they are legitimate if they hold elections in which most refuse to participate. At least then the pretense is gone.
