EI live: What chance for South Africa’s ICJ genocide case against Israel?

Tomorrow the International Court of Justice in The Hague will begin hearings in the genocide case brought by South Africa against Israel. (You’ll be able to watch that live on the UN’s website.)

Join the livestream this afternoon. Today’s lineup:

  • Michael Lynk, a former UN special rapporteur on human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories and professor of law at Western University, in London, Ontario, will talk about South Africa’s case and what chances it has.

  • Palestinian novelist and playwright Ahmed Masoud will be joining us again live from London, UK, to talk about the plight of his family in Gaza.

  • Nora provide a news update and Jon Elmer will review some of the latest videos from the resistance on the ground.
