Explosive allegations made by Proud Boy Enrique Tarrios, recently sentenced to 22 years for alleged “seditious conspiracy,” are of the level which rises to serious prosecutorial misconduct, which has resulted in vacated convictions or greatly reduced sentences on appeal. Last week a US District Judge for the Southern District of California vacated the convictions of four former US Navy officers for what she said was “outrageous” prosecutor behavior, and replaced their sentences with $100 fines.
Tarrios said in an interview this month that federal prosecutors attempted to suborn perjury when they offered him leniency if he would lie about Trump somehow being in communication with the Proud Boys on Jan. 6, 2021, in order to coordinate the events of the day, a narrative which Tarrio says would have been patently false.
Tarrio names two of the federal prosecutors who pressured him to lie, DOJ Lead Prosecutor Jocelyn Ballantine, and Assistant US Attorney Jason McCullough. So far GOP congressmen have remained silent on the allegations and have made no mention of any attempt to investigate.
Tarrio says he told prosecutors to go “pound sand.” Soon after, he received the harshest sentence yet meted out in the J6 trials, 22 years in federal prison. Tarrio is 38 years old. The Proud Boys is consistently described by the major media as a “far-right” “white supremacist” organization even though Tarrio is Black.
Tarrio told an interviewer in a phone interview from the prison where he is being held:
“The truth is, I could have been home. I could have been home a long time ago. I could have been sitting in my warm ass bed right now, laughing at the world, without a problem…and all I had to do in order to do that was LIE ABOUT TRUMP. That’s all I had to do. All I had to do was lie, confirm a lie…not even lie…all I had to do was confirm a lie.
Just to be clear, I have no connection to Trump whatsoever. Absolutely no connection between me and Trump or me and any of his aids or any of that. I mean think about it, right? Let’s stop to think about it right now. They arrested him on the 1512, right? Obstruction an Official Proceeding. But if you read the indictment, they are not really connecting Trump to the protesters on January 6th that day. They are saying he obstructed an official proceeding by doing certain things, by calling Georgia, or whatever other bullshit that they want to come up with. So they haven’t connected Trump to the protest- to what happened at the Capitol that day. How nice, how beautiful would it be, to also have him connected to a person that they supposedly say coordinated the whole thing, right? It would be fantastic for their case. It would be an emotional pull. It technically can get him for Seditious Conspiracy at that point…if they have a connection they can get him for Seditious Conspiracy- which might take him off the ballot in all 50 states.”

Tarrio was not in Washington DC on Jan. 6. Prosecutors as much as admitted that the goal of the J6 prosecutions is to discourage any dissent or questioning of official election results, targeting “anyone who might be unhappy” with officially reported results. An Australian newspaper reported that prosecutor Conor Mulroe said:
“We need to make sure the consequences are abundantly clear to anyone who might be unhappy with the results of 2024, 2028, 2032 or any future election for as long as this case is remembered,”
The backbone of the prosecution of Tarrio was text messaging which said things like: “Make no mistake we did this.”
But not prosecuted was Antifa activist John Sullivan, who said the same thing while actually inside the Capitol, who was seen standing next to another instigator who was never prosecuted, Ray Epps, Although media “fact checkers” deny that Sullivan is Antifa, there are videos of him giving speeches at BLM/Antifa rallies, and bragging how his posing as a Trump supporter was “all fake.”

Sullivan can be heard saying on the day before J6:
“”It’s all fake, my face is not on Instagram” he says. “I learned that sh*t already – I am going to wear a Trump hat. I am going to wear a Trump hat. I bought one today. I was wearing a Trump hat at the f*cking last Trump – at that Trump rally during the daytime…”
It was Sullivan who captured video of J6 protester Ashli Babbit being shot. In the below video Sullivan can be heard saying:
“”Let’s go! This sh*t’s ours. F*ck yeah. I can’t believe this is reality. We accomplished this sh*t. We did this sh*t together.”

In August 2023 the Chief of the Capitol Police on J6, Steven Sund, came around to the conclusion that the official J6 investigation was a “cover up,” and that it seemed to him that forces above him “wanted something to happen.”
” .. if I was allowed to do my job as the chief… we wouldn’t be here today. This didn’t have to happen I got lambasted in public and it’s all you know everything appears to be a cover-up…. Could there possibly be actually… they kind of wanted something to happen? It’s not a far stretch to begin to think that. It’s sad when you start putting everything together and thinking about the way this played out… what was their end goal?”
In May 2023, FBI whistleblowers testified before a congressional committee that FBI Director Christopher Wray lied to Congress when he said there were no FBI assets in the crowd.
Video obtain by Freedom of Information Act shows large numbers of peaceful protesters being waved into the Capitol by police, who even hold doors open for them. The footage runs counter to the narrative painted by the Biden administration that all the protesters were violent insurrectionists who forced their way into the building.
