FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda NEW YORK (AP) — A settlement between the federal government and the entity handling leftover business from when General Motors Corp. entered bankruptcy proceedings means $39.2 million will go to the Environmental Protection Agency.
That’s the amount that was demanded for the EPA’s cleanup costs at several areas of the Onondaga Lake Superfund Site in upstate New York. The settlement was filed late Monday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
Onondaga Lake was once a sacred American Indian waterway. It was surrounded by grand resorts and amusement parks in the late 1800s. A century of municipal and industrial pollution forced swimming to be banned in 1945. A fishing ban was imposed in 1970, replaced in 1986 by a limit on consumption of fish caught there. The lake was added to the Superfund list in 1994.
