FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — A former Norfolk resident will spend seven years in prison for participating in a scheme that fraudulently obtained nearly $1 million from the Navy Federal Credit Union.
U.S. Attorney Neil H. MacBride says 39-year-old Jady Brooks also must $940,992 restitution to the credit union and $275,796 to the Internal Revenue Service.
Brooks pleaded guilty on Feb. 1 to federal fraud and tax charges.
Court documents show that Brooks filed 38 fictitious applications for vehicle loans with the credit union on behalf of people he had solicited. Most of the loans went into default.
