Film Review: ‘Not Okay’: A Parable About Faking Your Life on the Internet

One of the better movies about trying to be someone you’re not and its repercussions was 2018’s “Eighth Grade.”
Arriving in the wake of the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard defamation trial, “Not Okay” feels immediately familiar. It opens with a warning that the movie will feature “flashing lights, themes of trauma, and an unlikable female protagonist.”… Source
