Ron DeSantis is the governor of Florida and many people think he has a shot at the presidency in 2024 elections because of the way he handled the “pandemic”. He quickly ended the Florida lockdown and promised not to lockdown again, refused a statewide mask mandate, and banned Covid vaccine passports. This all sounds good, right? Living in Florida, I can tell you that it has been much better here than in many parts of the world.
However, we must remember where DeSantis’ loyalties lie. As soon as he was elected, DeSantis took a 100 person delegation over to Israel, where the Florida Cabinet held its first ever meeting abroad. While in Israel, DeSantis signed the Anti-Semitism Protections Bill, which destroyed the right to free speech in Florida. He has bent over backwards to please the jewish community since then, including funding the Holocaust Task Force.
When considering what DeSantis is publicly saying about handling a pandemic, we must look carefully at what he is actually doing. Senate Bill 2006 was approved by DeSantis on on May 3, 2021, in which there is a clause that allows for forced vaccinations and quarantining for future pandemics.
Ordering an individual to be examined, tested, vaccinated, treated, isolated, or quarantined for communicable diseases that have significant morbidity or mortality and present a severe danger to public health. Individuals who are unable or unwilling to be examined, tested, vaccinated, or treated for reasons of health, religion, or conscience may be subjected to isolation or quarantine.”
If there is no practical method to isolate or quarantine the individual, the State Health Officer may use any means necessary to vaccinate or treat the individual.”

Just remember, no matter what you see or hear from Fox News or the alternative media, Republicans are not our allies. Even if they might say some things we might like to hear, they are not “based” and they do not have our interests at heart. They only serve our enemies.
