The Pottstown Borough Authority on Tuesday voted to remove fluoride from the public water supply.

Carrying out the decision, however, will take several months, Brent Wagner, utilities coordinator, said on Wednesday.

The state Dept. of Environmental Protection has been notified of the change — which must be advertised before an ammendement is enacted.

Meanwhile flouride has been many, many years contaminating our waters, drinking sources etc..probably gonna be a long long time before we find zero contaminates in our drinking water.

Sorry for sounding negative…I hope that people are becoming more aware that there are deeper issues behind the flouride! I agree it is not good for you and it should never have been put in the water to begin with.

I’ve read that Sodium Flouride is about 1000 times more soluble then calcium flouride.
Sodium Flouride is at least 80 times more deadly.
Saw an article recommending putting magnesium in one’s diet, to inhibit calcium flouride absorption. Is that also true with Sodium Flouride?

Is there such a thing as Calcium Flouride toothpaste?
I live near Pottstown, good to hear they removed it from the water. Thing is though, why keep it in our public water, when Fluoride is most likely used in every thing else we eat or drink. I’m sure it’s in the sodas, beers proccessed foods and all.
