Yesterday, the Android version of Chrome lost its beta tag. Today, at the second day of Google’s I/O conference in San Francisco, there was some great news for iPhone and iPad users – the popular Chrome browser is going to be offered in the iTunes App Store, and it should be available later today.
The iOS version should offer similar functionality to its Android counterpart, including the ability to sync tabs, bookmarks, passwords and history between devices and computers so you can continue reading where you left off. It will hopefully offer the refinement and speed that Android users with Ice Cream Sandwich have been enjoying for a while.
In addition, both iOS and Chrome OS users get a full version of Google Drive so they can share files and documents with ease. Google Docs will also allow offline editing, a capability many users will be very happy to see.
