Tehran. Suleyman Farzaliyev – APA. The H1N1 outbreak claimed 86 lives in Iran last year, said Iran’s deputy Health Minister Ali Akbar Sayyari, IRNA reported.
“However, media didn’t highlight these issues at that time. The death cases from the flu were extensively discussed in Kerman province. Nevertheless, similar incidents were widely spread in Tabriz last year”, said the deputy Health Minister.
Sayyari said that the virus is now spread in Kerman province, emphasizing the importance of awareness among the population to avoid a large-scale spreading of infection.
