PIC– The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” condemned the unjust Israeli sentence against Hamas leader Ibrahim Hamid, saying that it is a desperate attempt to break the will of the leaders and symbols of Palestinian resistance.
This unjust sentence comes within series of crimes practiced by the occupation against our people and national symbols, the movement said in a statement to Al-Qassam website on Sunday following the 54 life terms sentence passed against the commander Ibrahim Hamed.
The statement explained that Hamas do not recognize such judgments by the occupier who will only achieve more disappointment and failures.
The statement added that commander Hamed and all his brothers will enjoy their freedom in spite of the occupier, meanwhile it has asserted that resistance will achieve victory over Israel’s arrogance.
The prisoner Ibrahim Hamed holds a bachelor degree in political science from the University of Bir Zeit, and he has worked as a researcher on refugee issues, and issued many publications and research papers on the Palestinian issue. Before the arrest by Israeli occupation, he was planning to study for the master’s degree in international relations.
