Here’s What Angry Birds Sequel ‘Bad Piggies’ Looks Like

We finally got a look on Monday at the next-generation of Rovio’s popular Angry Birds franchise: Bad Piggies.

Launching September 27, the game makes the pigs the center of attention rather than the birds in what Rovio is calling “The Piggest Game Ever!”

A video trailer for the game shows the pigs flying through the air in wooden contraptions, powered by balloons and miniature helicopters. The vehciles appear to be created by players through a contraption-builder of sorts.

Building appears to be the focus of the game, with completing each level perhaps contingent on you creating the perfect vehicle for your pigs to make it through. The fact that building is playing a key role in the game isn’t a huge surprise.

Rovio previously released a series of videos entitled: “Bad Piggies Hogwatch,” where it focused on building in each installment.

Since its launch in December 2009, Angry Birds has been downloaded more than 1 billion times across all platforms and editions.

Bad Piggies will be available Sept. 27 for iOS, Android, PC and Mac.
