Hundreds of Jewish settlers desecrate Al-Aqsa Mosque

Days of Palestine, Jerusalem -Hundreds of Israeli Jewish settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque, performed mythical rituals and attempted to slaughter goats inside.

Marking the Jewish Passover or Pesach holiday, Israeli officials called for the Israeli Jews to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque to celebrate their holiday inside its Sanctuary Yards.

At the same time, the Israeli occupation forces and police placed severe restrictions on the Palestinian and Muslim worshipers, who wanted to perform their daily prayers inside their Mosque.

Several Muslim worshipers reported that the Israeli occupation took their IDs before they were allowed to enter into Al-Aqsa Mosque. “We are lucky to enter into the Mosque,” one of the worshipers told Days of Palestine, but asked to keep his name unknown fearing to be punished by the Israeli police.

“Hundreds of Muslims were prevented from entering into the Mosque in order to keep it empty in order to give the chance for the extremist Israeli Jewish settlers to perform their mythical rituals inside it,” he said.

In addition, the Israeli occupation forces have been evacuating Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Muslim worshipers, who stay inside it to protect it from the Jewish settlers including the guards employed for this purpose by the Jordanian government.

A number of Israeli Jewish settlers were seen carrying goats while entering into Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to slaughter them inside it as part of their mythical religious rituals.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is the third holiest place on earth for around two billion Muslims all of the world and the UNESCO decided last week that this is an Islamic site, refuting Israeli claims that it is Jewish and refused to use the Jewish name ‘The Temple Mount.’
