Iran Terrorists “Settled” in Europe

The U.S. government has moved the last remaining members of the Israeli-backed terrorist group People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (“Mujahedin-e Khalq,” MKO) from Iraq to Europe.

MKO—a Marxist Iranian dissident group—was earlier revealed as being armed and trained by Israel to carry out the Jewish state’s long-running terror and murder campaign against Iranian nuclear scientists.

The MKO terrorists were being housed at the former Camp Liberty (Hurriya), an American military base in the Iraqi capital Baghdad, before being moved to Europe, according to a statement on the terrorist organization’s website.

The statement said that the terrorists had been “relocated” to “countries in Europe, such as Germany, Britain, the Netherlands, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Belgium, Italy, and Spain, as well as Canada.”

“This final round of departures marks the successful conclusion to the process of relocating members of Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) outside of Iraq,” it said.

“The international community has now successfully achieved the relocation of all Camp Hurriya residents from Iraq to third countries,” William Spindler, spokesman for the Office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), has confirmed.

In August 25, another 155 members of the group, including a number of its senior leaders, had fled Iraq for Albania. Iraqi leaders had long urged MKO remnants to leave the Arab country, but a complete eviction of the terrorists had been hampered by the U.S. and European support for the group.

The MKO has carried out numerous terrorist attacks against Iranian civilians and government officials over the past three decades. Out of the nearly 17,000 Iranians killed in terrorist assaults since 1979, about 12,000, including many top officials, have fallen victim to MKO’s acts of terror.

In December 2011, the U.N. and Baghdad agreed to relocate some 3,000 MKO members from Camp Ashraf in Iraq’s Diyala province to Camp Liberty.

Another group of the MKO terrorists was evicted by the Iraqi government in September 2013 and relocated to the camp to await potential relocation to third countries.

The MKO was formerly listed as terrorist by the European Union (until 2009), and by Canada and the United States until 2012.

It was founded in 1965, and ten years later was taken over by Marxists and turned into a fully-fledged violent Communist terrorist group. It played an active role in the protests within Iran that led to the downfall of the Shah in 1979, and was accused of killing American servicemen and contractors in the 1970s and taking part in the infamous takeover of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran.

After the 1979 revolution, MKO fell out with the new Iranian government. Its leadership went into exile in France, from where they continued to coordinate terrorist attacks inside Iran.

In 2012, NBC News revealed that the MKO was being armed and trained by Israel’s Mossad to carry out a series of terrorist attacks, murders, and assassinations inside Iran, all linked to the mythical Iranian “atom bomb” lies put out by the Jewish lobby.

NBC News revealed that the series of “deadly attacks on Iranian nuclear scientists are being carried out by an Iranian dissident group that is financed, trained, and armed by Israel’s secret service.”

This confirmed “charges leveled by Iran’s leaders,” said NBC News.

The attacks, which have killed five Iranian nuclear scientists, were carried out by motorcycle-borne assailants often attaching small magnetic bombs to the exterior of the victims’ cars.

NBC News reported at the time that the Obama administration was aware of the assassination campaign.

The deep involvement of the Jewish lobby-controlled American administration and Israel’s Mossad with the radical Communist terrorists has therefore taken on a new and disturbing turn with the news that the MKO has now been “relocated” by the thousands to European nations—by the U.S. military.
