Iran, Uzbekistan increase air flights

Tehran, Dec 20, IRNA – Iran and Uzbekistan decided to increase air flights to 16 a week in line with a memorandum of understanding signed by respective officials of the two countries.

Public Relations Department of Civil Aviation Organization said that the MoU was signed in Tehran by a high-ranking Uzbek delegation.
Earlier, there were only two direct flights between Tehran and Tashkent every week.
Reza Jafarzadeh, the director of Public Relations Department of Civil Aviation Organization said that the recent agreement also makes possible direct flights to Shiraz, Isfahan, Mashad, Samarkand and Bukhara.
