Israeli interrogator wounds head of Palestinian prisoner

Days of Palestine, West Bank -An Israeli interrogator wounded on Wednesday the head of Palestinian prisoner while questioning him.

PLO’s Prisoner Committee said in a report that the Israeli interrogator wounded the head of the Palestinian prisoner Adnan Ayyad from the West Bank city of Nablus while he was trying to “drag compulsory recognitions.”

The prisoner had a large injury and remained bleeding, without medical assistance, until the end of the interrogation session.

“When he was taken to the prison clinic,” the report said, “the prisoner had seven stitches in his head.” Then, he was returned to the prison again.

According to the report, the prisoner would remain under remand detention for extra eight days for the purpose of completing the interrogation.

Human rights activist Ali Tamimi from Al-Khalil said that the Palestinian prisoners are always subject to such Israeli aggressions during investigation.

“This is only one form of the Israeli aggression which is being practiced against the Palestinian prisoner inside the Israeli inquisitions,” the human rights activist said.
