Israeli navy opens fire at Gaza fishermen, wounding 3

Israeli occupation navy opened fire on Thursday morning towards Palestinian fishermen of Gaza coast, wounding three were on board of fishing boat.

Spokesman of the Ministry of Health Ashraf al-Qidra said that the three wounded fishermen sustained moderate injuries.

He noted that all of them are receiving treatment in Al-Shifa Hospital, the main hospital in Gaza.

At the same time, he noted that there is a sever lack of medical disposals and medicines, while many of the medical equipment in need for spare parts to be replaced as soon as possible.

Head of the Fishermen Syndicate Nizar Ayyash said that the Israeli navy opened fire indiscriminately at the Palestinian fishermen off the Gaza coast, causing the three fishermen to be wounded.

Ayyash complained of the repeated Israeli aggression on the fishermen, noting that the last victim fell last month when the Israeli occupation navy opened fire at two fishermen, wounding one and killing the other.
