Israeli occupation kidnaps Palestinian lawmaker, minister

Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation kidnapped on Sunday at dawn six Palestinians, including lawmaker and former minister in West Bank city of Al-Khalil.

Palestinian sources said that the Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Khalil, broke into the houses of MP Hatim Qafisha and kidnapped him.

Qafisha relatives said that the Israeli occupation forces beat him and handcuffed him in front of his family members before forcing him out of the house.

After he was kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces, Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces stormed the house again and burnt Qafisha’s car.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Nimra Neighbourhood, broke into the house of the former Palestinian Minister of Local Governance Issa al-Jaabari and kidnapped him.

Family sources said that the Israeli occupation forces blew off the front doors of Al-Jaabari’s house before breaking onto it and kidnapping the minister.

Palestinian Prisoners’ Club also reported that the Israeli occupation forces had arrested four other Palestinians from the same distressed city.
