Israeli occupation wounds 8, arrests 33 in West Bank

Days of Palestine, West Bank -Israeli occupation forces wounded on Tuesday night eight Palestinians, arrested 33 others including blind man across the occupied West Bank.

Palestinian medical sources announced that eight Palestinians were wounded during an Israeli raid to Balata Refugee Camp in Nablus.

One of the eight wounded, the medical sources said, is the 50-year-old man Tha’er Khalil. He was wounded in his leg and sustained moderate injuries.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club (PPC) reported that the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 33 Palestinians during the night raids of the Palestinian homes in different cities, villages and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank.

According to the PPC, one of the Palestinians arrested tonight was the blind Majd Amarneh, 50, from the city of Jenin. The PPC said: “Despite he was blind, but he was beaten by the Israeli occupation forces and dragged forcefully inside the Israeli military vehicle.”

Rights group say that more than 7,000 Palestinians are being currently imprisoned by the Israeli occupation, including more than 650 in administrative detention.
