Alex talks with Michael Allison, a 41-year-old backyard mechanic from southeastern Illinois, who faces up to 75 years in prison for the crime of recording the police. Allison ran afoul of officialdom in Robinson, Illinois, after filing a lawsuit against the city in 2007 in response to a demand he pay the state to license unused cars on his property.

  1. This country is dead, and so is freedom.

    Goodbye Old America!
    Hello New Amerika!

  2. I would ask for an inquiry on the corrupt assss cops–u may find that these shitbags are on the take

  3. Maybe one day infowars will stop trying to mislead its readers and will publish an honest headline. The guy is facing life in prison, he hasn’t been convicted. And when he does eventually go to trial no jury in this land is going to send him away for 75 years for recording a cop.

    • you are so bizarre in your thought patterns they are threatening to throw throw the man in prison and throw the key away and they say to hell with the first amendment

      • I’m bizarre in my thought patterns? Where did you come up with that one? They can threaten all they like, getting a conviction is going to take more then threats.

    • Maybe one day people such as yourself will stop looking for minutiae and see the forest for the trees – the PTB are trying to create a police-state. Also, they are indeed threatening the guy with a life sentence. No, it is unlikely a jury will convict him, but it is not a done deal.

      • And how did you come by your very inaccurate evaluation of who I am and what I believe? Take a step down from your high horse and stop acting like you’re the shit.

    • The point is the police were not wise in their actions. This guy was breaking an ordinance and also state law…..but because it was such an insignificant matter they would have been better off just fining him repeatedly until he got the message. If one lives in the city limits you are creating an eyesore for the neighbors by keeping junk cars on the property. He should have registered them an worked on them in a garage or taken them outside the city limits to the countryside. There are only about 20,000 people in the whole county so their is lots of room to work on old vehicles. But once again the lack of insight by the authorities on this matter was lacking as to dealing with these types of issues.

    • Death Ray, you need to phut the shuck up…

      • And you need kiss my ass.

  4. As Benjamin Franklin said ” THOSE WHO CAN GIVE ESSENTIAL LIBERTIES FOR A LTTLE TEMPORARY SAFETY, DESERVE NEITHER LIBERTY NOR SAFETY” !!!!

    • Gee, haven’t heard that one before.

      • People need to hear it more.

        • No they don’t. This comes from a guy with a dozen bodies in his back yard. Maybe people should put some faith in themselves rather then the elite of a bygone era? Maybe if we stop believing in fairy tales about this country and make it what it was supposed to be things would change for the better. I think we’ve heard enough bullshit from politicians at this point, whether today or yesterday. We’re a mind controlled nation just like the rest of the world. A few slogans and saying aren’t going to do jack shit to change that.

  5. Police can be recorded. Steven Hindi was video taping the police when Mitt Romney tried to have him arrested. The police told Hindi that it was against the law, and Steve pulled out and read the law he could. See: Olympics+FBI+Corruption+Mitt Romney on a google search and see Steve’s video of his entire video recording of his stop by the police in New Mexico when he was protesting Romney. Ok so you like rodeo’s and Steve was protesting one Mitt wanted to have at the Olympics, but that is not the issue. The issue is Steve had a right to protest and not go through a shake down created by Romney.

Why in the heck does Alex Jones listen to Joel Skousen? Yikes, Joel is a normal Skousen mess.

    • just noticed here in new mexico namely lea county court house on the windows of the doors it says that all cellphones and video cameras are banned from the second floor where the judges hold their court over the sheeple also on the door it says you cannot go into the court house with anytype of weapon knife or gun gee the judge who put this up name is maddox if i remember correctly and the sheriff is rod coffman seems this bozo dont know that the first amendment is unmutable

  6. Off subject……..mostly. – 2 days ago, I asked what had happened to a fellow “Info-warrior”: Roaddog6. Some of the responses I got back were incredibly (shall I say) government-like and shallow. Just because we don’t like someone’s posts on this site doesn’t mean that they are any less of an “Info-warrior” than any one else here. The fact that some of you were nearly happy that he was gone, makes me ashamed to be a part of this. If ANY of us are missing, or arrested, or dead….. we should all worry. We are few and we need as much as we can get. The more of us that can spread the truth, the more truth that gets spread around. Yes, some of our views are conflicting, but we are (or at least should act like) a group. Or am I at the wrong site?
To those of you who answered my question, thank you.
    Peace

    • Who would label themselves as an “infowarrior” to begin with? How messed up is that? We and “you” aren’t a part of anything. The reason some people were happy that roaddog6 is gone is because he treated people poorly. Yes, you’re on the wrong site. Do you really think you’re part of some mass-movement? Want to buy some heirloom seeds, how about some freeze dried food? Face it man, this is a business venture not a cultural revolution. The revolution ended a long time ago. This is a social networking site for outcasts and conspiracy theorists. Nothing to see here, move on, move on.

On a serious note, how about them damn Yankees?

      • Then go away. I don’t consider myself to be an outcast, and I consider myself to be a conspiracy realist. So please, by all means, move on, move on, if you don’t like it here. I’d rather disagree with someone who wants to live in a free society than see posts written by some asshole at best, and government shill at worst. Yes, please move on, and roll into a fetal position if that suits you, or watch baseball or Dancing with the Stars.

    • Agreed.

    • maybe…just maybe and it is only a guess. There is alot of malware out there. Maybe rd6 ran into some. Not everyone can just go out and buy a new computer at the drop of a hat. I’m too cheap to go out and just buy a new laptop expecially when I can limp along with a soft-keyboard and Ubuntu until December when I get PAID.

  7. If the jury does not throw this out with recommendations that the arresting officer be brought up on charges then the jury, the judge, and the prosecuting atty. all need to see some street justice.

    • We can only hope that the jury is that well informed.

    • Unfortunately, ‘street justice’ is probably the only real solution left to us now. It won’t be nice.

Peace is cheap — slaves are at peace. Freedom is expensive — it could well cost us our lives. Which will we buy for our children?

    • You got that right brother, “Off with their heads”! We need our own “Arab Spring”. If we don’t fight for each other then who will?

  8. When he’s aquitted, he needs to sue each officer personally, the Judge personally, the Police Department as a whole, right on down to the damned stenographer who recorded the court proceedings. What a kangaroo court system. No wonder Americans think their court system is a joke and have no respect for it. Who can respect an obvious tyrannical ‘tough guy’ court, where they think they can do whatever they want…arrest you on false charges (recording in a public place is NOT a crime) steal your property from your land, etc. What needs to happen is they need to pick on not just one guy who will stand up for himself like Mr. Allison, but they need to pick on someone who’s a member of a militia. Imagine the look on some pigs face when he comes to arrest you and all of a sudden he and his cronies are surrounded by 1000 snipers with AR’s and SOCOM’s pointed at their asses. The Police better wake the hell up and realize they work for us. Their job is to protect and serve, not steal, abuse and harrass.

    • Suing this “kangaroo court system” will net zero justice and we can thank legislating from the bench for that.

    • Couldn’t have said it better Patrick.

  9. Chicago corruption spills out into all of Illinois and the rest of the Midwest. What a disgusting cesspool of a town.

    .

    • when Hindi was protesting Mitts decision for a rodeo in the Salt Lake City Oympics Hindi said he was harassed by police in Chicago. It is on Hinid’s video he put up.

Hinid’s video is great viewing because as mentioned earlier the police tried to tell him the same thing.

See on a google search type on: FBI+corruption+Olympics+Mitt Romney and the video will come up.

  10. It is the jury duty to ensure this man is not thrown under the bus.

    • HE WONT DO A YEAR!

  11. The whole story reads like another made up Psy-ops event.

This is the real story that the media is not and cannot report on. Here’s what Obama, Osama, Biden, Bin Laden, the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists, and Sarah Palin had to do with the last election and the military’s overthrow of our government. Search PalinsDirtyLittleSecret.blogspot and learn the biggest story in the history of the world.

  12. I watched last night as Alex interviewed him, and feel very sorry for him and this Nation. I do think this is nothing more than a scare tactic, and it like so many others will be thrown out of Court.

    • You may be right to some extent , but think of think of how much it will cost him to defend himself and he will never recover that money. The system is rigged.

      • oops serious typo

    • The Nazis are getting their wings, or feeling their oats, as they say. They need to be slapped down.

  13. HE WONT DO A YEAR

    • He shouldn’t do one second! What the hell is going on in this country. Makes me think of what JFK said about those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution innevitable.
